I have already stated it served it's purpose, but MY definition of a good jab isn't what Roys was.

A good jab to me is one that is feared or demands respect. One that if it lands, will have an impact. Holmes comes to mind.. as does Quartey. Those are good jabs. Roys was just loose change, many fights flick their jab out there for the same purpose with the same results.

Now, Derrick Gainer has the same style as Roy and his jab was decent. Watching footage of them you'll see the difference I'm talking about. They both fight exactly alike.. I dunno if they have the same trainer or Gainer just loved Roy enough to emulate him, but he had a snappy jab that put heads back, and IMO that's what I look for in a good jab.
I think if Roy wanted to land his jab, he would. He usually only used it to set up an attack, and not to land it hard. But i feel against Floyd, he would realise that his jab would be his best weapon. I doubt he would be messing around with lead rights with Floyd. Maybe, but Floyd could make him pay.

And i dont think Floyd is an easy fight for any fighter p4p. But i do see Roy winning.

RJJ beats both May and Pac in RJJ's prime. I also agree with RJJ that Pac may have better chance stylistically.

Roy is delusional about himself and has been for a while, though I like his live fight commentating. Floyd and Toney are similar in one aspect and thats with their backs against the ropes they use a shoulder roll. Floyd's quicker with excellent timing. Roy has got to come up with a better gameplan than that.

RJJ athletism would be too much for FLoyd. All that shoulder roll stuff wouldnt work on RJJ hed get caught eventually and koed out.

RJJ knows Pac is better than FLoyd.

No my brother ... it was not a slip.

RJJ was caught clean by Del Valle.

Lou was his former sparring partner .. something RJJ said he would never fight.

Lou pushed RJJ into the ropes and when RJJ recoiled, Del Valle caught him flush and RJJ lost control of his legs and tried to step away and fell.

                    I remember it well.

Lou was a big deal here after that. We all knew him before, but after dropping the second coming of Sugar, he was a celebrity.

I believe had Toney had Mayweathers work ethic in the gym, Roy would have been koed in that fight against Toney. Toney had bad eating, drinking, and smoking habits and did not traithe n with passion needed to be great, Roy did. If you watch the fight you can see Toney making Roy miss some big shots over and over. Mayweather would have returned fire and made Roy pay in full for every Mistake, Anybody who disagrees is a fool.
                      Come on man.

Tiney was P4P#1 when Jones beat him. Why make that excuse? Did you see the fight?

Yes, Jones was technically flawed. That's why he never would have had the longevity of BHOP, but he made up for it by having inhuman speed and the reflexes of a cobra.

RJJ was unbelievable in his prime. He beat EVERYONE put in front of him and kept on winning until he left the HW division.

Your criticism is unwarranted and based on conjecture.
