Lol you sigged my quote from earlier in this thread...

Its a different time and different era, I'm sure you wont admit to it but both the Klitschko's are way too big for Louis or Marciano.

"Louis's era was filled with midgets, bums and lumbering oafs. Wlad's era is merely filled with bums and lumbering oafs."

The above, whilst a little harshly put, sums up my thoughts on the respective eras.

Sigh... typical answer as if I havent heard it a million times before.

The difference between Carnera and Wlad is that Wlad actually is an great boxer on top of having huge size. Carnera on the other hand was just big.

              6'5'' 260.

H2H, the only prime HW's I'd favor against the Klitschko's prime for prime......

Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Holyfield, Bowe, and Lewis.

That doesn't mean I think the Klitschko's are higher all-time than Joe Louis, because they aren't. Joe's era tha he fought in was significantly more difficult for fighters of his era, than the Klitschko's is right now.

Based on career, era, resume, and taking into account skills, I'd still say Joe Louis was the 2nd greatest HW of all-time. H2H, not the case though.

If you heard it a million time, then it's time to rethink, Wlad woudn't be as big without the help of todays subtances, legal or not. You have two choices, bring a smaller less trained Klitschko before Louis, or a bring a bigger Louis with todays training before a Klischko, in both situations Louis would win.

H2H? No they effing aren't! Conn was a goddamn middleweight! I don't care who you are, you don't get no credit for beating no goddman middleweight. What if Wlad beat a plumped up Andre Ward? Would you give him credit for that? Would you bollocks! You'd say it was a disgrace and an absolute mismatch. Carnera is a better win than Byrd? What planet are you smoking in your planet-sized pipe? Schmeling and Baer better wins than anyone on Wlad's resume? Baer was a clown with windmill sails for arms. Schmeling wouldn't even have been considered a heavyweight today. Don't big up Louis's wins like they were something super special. They were good wins for a good heavyweight in a weak era. That's all.
