I agree. Wladimir is a top 20 heavyweight in my opinion. He's been much too consistent and dominant to be denied a place among the greats. Although he may not be top tier. He has earned the rank of excellent heavyweight champion.

Not sure about Vitali yet, will wait and see how the Haye fight goes.

      No doubt about it.

I honestly wouldn't argue against it. Although I would NOT use the word "destroys." I just think the size difference will be too much. Rocky wasn't a fighter like Frazier(who was a legitimate 200Iber in the first place.) who had excllent defence either. I just see him getting tagged far, far too much and the ref might end up with a mercy stoppage.

It wouldn't be a pretty fight. It would be a jab and a clinchfest but it would need to be done for Wladimir to win.

I'm not ruling out Marciano though, even in the most unlikely of circumstances determination can shine through. And determination plus punching power can end in surprises.

I agree he would be Top 20 without a doubt.

          Whats up with Povetkin?

On a completely un-related note he's a **** and I hope Rahman does Lennox Lewis V2 and sparks him.

Marciano was a fraud, only defensed his title 6 times but thats a different story.

Marciano was 5'11 had a 67inch reach & only weighing on avg of 185lbs

Wlad 6'6, 81 inch reach with an avg weight of 240lbs. I would use the word destroy because the size disparity is enormous. He would have been jabbed to death and pounded with the right hand.

yeah I'm trying to figure out why he's ducking Wlad? He needs to put up the vacant WBA "regular" title.

Come on man, Marciano tore up his division, albeit it was a very weak one. He was by no means a fraud. He ducked nobody.

Most likely because he knows he will lose. He's not helping himself though, losing in a great effort would help his career more than dodging a fight with him.

Fraud in the sense of title defenses. Not as a fighter of course

His career was 8 years long and he only had the title 3 years before retiring. His best win is vs a 137 year old Joe Louis
