Well Floyd v. Cotto won't be a fair comparison to Pac v. Bradley if you're going to be looking at PPV buys.

Cotto is a legitimate star, him and Floyd will do awesome numbers.

I hope Floyd doesn't use that as him being a significantly bigger draw than Pac and further avoid the fight. It is a farce if he does.

Pac has dead weight with Bradley on the bill. Not even to mention Floyd's undercard!

This whole thing is such a damn shame. Seriously. Everybody. Don't defend millionaire professional fighters for not fighting.

I believe that those demands were mentioned in the early stages of the negotiations. They were part of Floyd's initial demands of coming in last, getting the marquee billing, the venue, etc..
I will try to find the link, if it's still possible.

Cotto is the 3rd biggest draw in boxing at the moment, an with Canelo on the undercard, it should do big numbers, around 1.6m maybe.

Yea, Floyd seems to think he's the only reason people buy fights. That may be the case with joke fights like Mayweather/Ortiz and Mayweather/Cotta

With something like Mayweather/De La Hoya or Mayweather/Pacquiao, the other fighter is just as much a draw as Floyd. De La Hoya is half the reason he did 2.44m PPVs that night.. No DLH, no 2.44m PPVs.

If anything Pac rates 50/50 because he's the other half of this "Superfight" .. No Pac, no superfight. There is no subsitute for Pac either, so Floyd can keep fighting Cotto, Ortiz, and people like that and will never reach the level of Pac/May

Another important note on this article is about Pac signing the contract which puts to rest those lies that he refused to sign in Dec. 2009.

It was only later, on Dec. 12, 2009, that Mayweather added the ost to the stipulations after they had practically ironed out everything.

One thing is clear though, slowly but surely, more and more Floyd fans are beginning to see the light.

I bet that $40 mil, no ppv offer is looking better by the day. Floyd was being nice offering to wire manny the $20 mil for his taxes. Floyd just trying to help out. Floyd knows tax issue can be sticky.
