What's really important to consider are the following:

Floyd as the top draw, had PPV fights since 2005. His total in the top 25 is 4. That excludes the Oscar fight since he was not the top draw.

Pac on the other hand, since becoming the top draw in 2009, has 6, excluding the one with DLH since he was not the top draw.

Take note that Pac's figures, except for the Clottey fight, have been steadily rising.

And to emphasize once more, take note that in those six fights of Pac, 4 were with non-Americans. That alone tells you a great deal about Pac's PPV pulling capabilities.

why discuss ifs and maybes when we can discuss what actually happened. You can spin and manipulate the stats all you want. Pac can pull numbers we agree. Floyd is just better at it.

No matter how much you love Manny, you can never change this. Common ooponents floyd will ALWAYS sell more. And, as a reminder:

floyd got to #1 with ODH. He will get to #1 with Manny, then he will have #1 and #2
Manny can't get to#1 without floyd. ODH couldn't get to #1 without floyd.

And when they fought each other, they did floyd/Ortiz numbers. So who is manny, floyd or ortiz?

With something like Mayweather/De La Hoya or Mayweather/Pacquiao, the other fighter is just as much a draw as Floyd. De La Hoya is half the reason he did 2.44m PPVs that night.. No DLH, no 2.44m PPVs.

If anything Pac rates 50/50 because he's the other half of this "Superfight" .. No Pac, no superfight. There is no subsitute for Pac either, so Floyd can keep fighting Cotto, Ortiz, and people like that and will never reach the level of Pac/May
      Your an idiot.

Floyd did 1.1m PPV with Marquez, Manny did 1.65m PPV with Marquez, Floyd did 1.6m PPV with Mosley, Manny did 1.3m PPV with Mosley.... So against common opponents at present time i think Manny best Floyd by a notch....

It was only later, on Dec. 12, 2009, that Mayweather added the ost to the stipulations after they had practically ironed out everything.

Floyd also agreed 50/50 during negotiations.

                  How long ago was that?

Holyfield did 1.99m against Tyson. Guess he deserves 80/20 split if he faces the Klitschkos.
