Pacquiao is the king of PPV he has sold more PPVs than Floyd... I think Floyd first PPV was against Gatti and his biggest fight came when he was a B-side fighter to De la Hoya... He has done big one fight numbers over the years because he marketed 3 fight as comming out of retirement fights... He has fought 4 times since June of '07 that's 4 times in 58 months an average of once ever 14.5 months... While during that same time Manny has fought 10 times that's once ever 5.8 months... They basically sold the same amount of one fight numbers during that time even with Floyd fighting Mexicans on Mexican holiday weekends... It's easy to ask your fans to shell out $60 once every 14.5 months versus $60 bucks every 5.8 months... During that time a Mayweather fan would only have to shell out $240 while a Pacquiao fan would have to shell out $540 a 125% more... (The Diaz fight was not on PPV).

So you have one guy who was the B-side of the biggest selling PPV and another guy who is the PPV king and has generated more revenue and has fought in front of more sellout crowds and is the most popular fighter in the world not just the ******.... I think Manny is being more than fair by even offering Floyd 50/50 or 45/45 winner takes extra 10%... The first black president invited Manny to the White House not Floyd... Nike/Jordan are signing Manny not Floyd... Floyd doesn't even have any endoresments and nobody knows him outside of U.S. ******s and boxing fans... Manny is a global icon and Floyd doesn't get it but why should we expect him too.. He's a 35 year old millionare heading to the joint on some BS.....

Is keeping all the money for yourself greedy. Yes. IS offering $40 mil flat gonna get the fight done. No. Of course it is a substantial amount more than manny has ever earned but given the expectations of the fight a rather low offer.

That said, Manny's point , which people on this board accept is, without the split I want no fight. Ok cool. Floyd's saying the exact same thing. So if we are going to criticize floyd for being too greedy no problem.

But to say one guy wants fight and one guy doesn't when both take the same position is irrational. Both are being greedy, its just floyd is up front about it.

They're not taking the same position though, are they. Floyd wants all of the ppv, ALL of it. Manny wants around half, so how are they taking the same position?

Again... has Team Cotto confirmed that they are NOT receiving any PPV %??? Because, according to Mayweather, he's saying 'the way I do business NOW I keep 100% of the PPV' - so that must mean he's saying Cotto is only getting a FLAT guaranteed purse and nothing more.

I would like to hear Cotto confirm this because I have a difficult time believing that to be true.

Funny, it sounded to me like he said he wanted to fight Manny but he wants the money split in his favor. If he doesn't get the split he wants, no fight. Thats the same position manny is taking. Yet he wants the fight and floyd doesn't. Huh?

c'mon dunn. pac wants 50/50 which is reasonable to most people. floyd wants 100/0. is that reasonable? is it fcuk!

Every day it seems Mayweather gives out little bts of info that all amounts to him ducking Pacquiao.

No doubt some fool is going to go "TAKE THE TEST", but the **** has just come out of the horses mouth, and there is no defending it.

Some Floyd fans are still reluctant to admit that their boy is scared of Pac. Although they are now putting more blame on Floyd, they still would not completely accept that Floyd is the main reason this fight is not going to happen. They console themselves and try to save face by outwardly saying that Pac is equally to blame and they try to justify it to themselves with flimsy and ridiculous excuses. And as a last resort, they point to Arum. Only the densest and most fanatical fans remain to defend a lost and ****** cause.

One thing is clear though, slowly but surely, more and more Floyd fans are beginning to see the light.
