Thx for the link, was never going to be realistic, they seemed to reached the 147lb 8oz agreement almost instantly.

If you remember Mayweather *****ed an moaned about using 10oz gloves for the Oscar fight.

Mayweather's counterpunching is affected by the heavier gloves.

Floyd was attempting to lure Pac to 154 with 10 oz gloves to lessen Pac's power. It just didn't work, so he did not pursue it.

honestly, this fmj/manny mess is garbage on both sides of the fence...in the 70's & 80's, all the superfights we wanted to see were made, because at the end of the day, the best fought the best...this generation of fighters are all cherrypickers with egos and mouths, bigger than their heart...thats why hagler is one of my favorite fighters to this day...he knew srl had a tremendous ego, but he gave up all his leverage, took the money, to get srl in the ring...nothing else mattered...
