When Floyd went away after the failed negotiations all Roach, Arum and Pac talked about was Floyd Mayweather Jr. Floyd wasn't even talking and Arum had that B.S. clock up on his website. talked about Floyd turning down 100MIL and all this other nonsense but as soon Floyd came back to the sport Bob Arum and Pacquiao were acting like they didn't need Floyd. Listen, you can sit up here all day and act like none of this stuff ever happened but it did and it is documented in the boxing archives. Being a fan is one thing but being a delusional fan boy/salty is totally something different.

What are they suppose to say if Floyd's name is brought up during being interview?? Floyd actually make his own videos to talk about PAC hahah.. So who's using who to promote their fght? C'mon man this is the standard question for floyd every interview. You usually get great TV/radio and then floyd inevitably provides "watercooler" discussion fodder. I can't afford to give him 50/50 or self preservation comes 1st.

Are you kidding? Floyd has used Manny's name to promote his entire comeback.

So right, some people on here have very selective memories.

Pacquiao fights Hatton, what happens the day before at the same venue, Floyd annouces he going to fight JMM.

Why?

Because the boxing world is watching Pacquiao and it is the perfect way Floyd can get his comeback maximum coverage. He even chose to fight Marquez because he had fought Pacquiao.

Pacquiao fight Cotto, what happens the day after, Floyd does interviews.

Why?

Because the world is watching again and Floyd know he can promote himself off the back of Pacquiao's name.


Pacquiao fights Margarito, Floyd does his rant on Ustream all about Pacquiao.


Mayweather sets a date to fight on May 5th and is negotiating with Canelo and Cotto, but pretends he is interested in fighting Pacquiao by calling him so his fights gets more coverage, yet the offer he tell Pacquio over the phone it is clear he is never interested in the fight.

Not saying arum doesnt do it too but i read an article about haymon making the most money for his fighters while incurring the least amount of risk. As a partner of mayweather promotions this seems to echo that sedinent. I hope gamboa doesnt go down this road .

Pacquiao wants the fight, he said so since the beginning, Floyd has rarely said so, and when he has he has also said he was only saying because thats what the fans wanted to hear.

After Pacquiao destroyed Cotto, Floyd snr, told the media that he think that his son should never fight Pacquiao.

The fight is gone, Pacquiao is now on the slide, so even if it were to happen sometime in the future it is not the fight that it could have been.

Only one person to blame, and that is Floyd Mayweather jr, and boxing will have to live with the farce that Floyd has created for a long time to come.

The sooner Floyd hangs them up for good the better it will be for boxing.
