why are you simpletons debating how much a fight made? can't you figure it out yourself?
if a fight has to make $100 million, it should generate probably a minimum of 1.2 million ppvs. that's around $72 - $75 million already...the remaining $25 million is for the gates, closed circuits, sponsors and international rights.
so ask yourself this...did the fight make 1.2 million ppvs? if yes then you can bet your momma's ass it made $100 million.
and why the **** is somebody bringing up clottey? no fighter, past or present, could make $100 million with clottey as opponent.

I'm a big Hagler guy too but he took a 50/50 split, gave SRL the large ring he wanted, and that contributed to him losing.

Links to articles dated before Roach's words on the 4th stating that 147 had already been agreed.
Pacquiao and Mayweather have fought recent bouts at catch weights. However if they complete their deal, the bout would be contested at 147 pounds, the maximum for a welterweight fight, a source said.Mayweather has agreed to terms and promoter Bob Arum is making a trip to Manila, Philippines, to finalize a deal with Pacquiao, the source said.

The camps agreed to a 50-50 split of the money, which could be gargantuan. Many experts expect the fight to eclipse the all-time pay-per-view record for sales, which is the 2.44 million buys generated by Mayweather's 2007 victory against Oscar De La Hoya.
Both fighters will wear 8-ounce gloves but each fighter will be allowed to select the brand of gloves he will wear for the fight.

Floyd never made over $100m in ppv as the top draw. The only fight where he went over $100m was when Oscar was the top draw. Take that one out and Floyds best as the top draw was with Mosley which had 1.41m ppv buys. Pac/Marquez lll made more than that, and this was a fight between two non-Americans.

Floyd always stated he was picking the right fights to move him forward to the big money.
Nothing has changed Floyd is still after that money, and that money is tied up with that 0.
And he won't gamble on losing that.
