Marquez looked like a chubby lightweight in that fight, you can't be serious. It was a welterweight versus a lightweight in there. Fight of the decade - ha!

I agree that Manny deserves the respect but I also beleive some of the accolades he receives from writers are becuase he isn't floyd and they will do anything to knock him down because of his arrogance.

My point is in boxing, there is a "jeremy lin"effect towards Pac.

Most black fans, boxers, trainers seem to be butthurt that Manny is getting so much props and love.

Manny might be overrated by HBO and his fans, but putting him out of "the greats of his era" is ******ed.

There is a lot of jealousy towards Pac.
          This is so true.

Yeah thats what it is. It couldn't possibly be that black people are experienced seeing writers give accolades only because the writers dislike the brashness or arrogance of the black athlete.

Pac put JMM on is backside 4 times and he was lucky to survive so when someone says JMM is the best of the era and Pac isnt you know they have something against Pac and shouldnt be taken seriously.

Wowee, he made it really a close decsion against Pac. JMM has only done well against Pac, whereas Pacs resume trumps JMMs, so JMM is best of this era on the basis of what he did with Pac? Doest what Pac did to Morales and Barrera and Cotto and Hatton and DLH worth anything?

Apparently not? Quite frankly, im gettin fed up with Americans trying to praise their own fighters and then its like the gospel truth. Why would Mcgirt praise JMM then whos not american? Because he isnt the main threat to Floyds reputation. Its Pac that is considered above Floyd so McGirt is trying to erase Pac from the equation.
Pac is FOTD get over it and yourselves.

Pacquiao was Knocked OUT by Rustico Torrocampo and Medgoen Singsurat! How many times have Floyd or Marquez ever been KTFO? The answer is ZERO between them. Even early in their careers! Floyd is undefeated and Marquez' only undisputable loss came at Floyds hands. All of JMMs other losses were either controversial decisions or outright robberies. End of story.

Please familiarize yourself with the difference between a KNOCK-DOWN and a KNOCK-OUT. By Pac-fans logic Chuck Wepner is better than Muhammad Ali because Wepner put Ali on his backside! lol

JMM and Floyd are using each other to pretend they are great. Floyd beating a blown up JMM, first venture at WW.
Barrera dont think JMM is as good as Pac thats for sure. Pac won 3 times. YOu cant change that, cos then you will have to change many fights in history, including the one that Floyd lost to Castillo.

Also Floyd dont give rematches like Pac, so who knows maybe Floyd would lose every rematch he ever had, whos to know. Yes Castillo gave Floyd a rematch as Floyd wanted to avenge the loss to Castillo.
Floyd did pretty well in the rematch, only because Castillo was disheartend. He used Floyd as a punchbag in the first fight, yet still didnt get the decision. You cant perform under those circumstances, he probably thought Floyd was invincible to get a decsion against.
