If your boy shane had stepped up in 2005 youd have a point. Same with ODH. Can't blame floyd for that. Floyd wasn't always the big name. He was the "too much risk not enough reward" guy for several years.

Because of $$. None of those guys would fight Floyd for the same reason Floyd won't fight Sergio. Too high of a risk, too little of a reward.

So sticking with the money makes fights theme, why didn't Floyd accept a then career high payday to fight Margarito.

If you have any questions about a fighter, especially while the fighter is active, you can't legitimately justify any reasoning to call him the best ever

They proved it by actually fighting, floyd has always found a way not to fight. (see no 50/50 split all the sudden tor the most recent example). He could have sergio right now but he's talking cotto and canelo.
So when floyd was a relative nobody he was avoiding fights? really, the same guy who fought Castillo his 1st time at that weight. Come on man.

Never mind that sergio is at 160 and floyd is 147. Come on please.

He got more for baldo and bought out his TR contract. we all know this.

If you read my posts in this thread I agree he can't get to that level. But don't penalize him for superiority in the ring. And dont be like walt. Shane had the chance to fight a prime floyd when he was prime and refused.

Sergio said he would come down to 154 many, many times. The same division where Floyd is fighting for a title in 10 weeks.

Poetic justice for Floyd if you ask me.

So the fight he has with Macklin on the 17th isn't an issue either. ok.

Point to you and walt is if you say floyd doesn't prime hof'ers on his resume, which is true, its also true floyd called these men out and they refused to fight floyd because he was too much of a risk.

In your floyd sergio example, sergio is calling out people 2 weight clases BELOW him wheras ODh and Shane were in weight classes above floyd. Difference in your mind?

Make up all the excuses you want for floyds weak ass opposition. Its all nonsense. I deal in facts. Fact 1, Foyds contemporaries all fought each other in primes for the most part. Oscar fought goddam bhop at 160 for chrissake. Think how ridiculous it is to even dre that floyd would do sething like that.
Fact 2- floyd fought none of them post 2002.

To even hint that these guys like winky, cotto, margs, vargas, oscar, tito, shane, jmm, casa or whoever was scared to fight floyd is just mind boggling. Those
guys for the most part fought everyone. Floyd didnt, not at all. They walked they walked the walk while floyd was busy fighting two box offs for gatti and chasing around the joke that is and was carlos baldomir and basically spending his entire career trying fighting the easiest possible opponents he could find.

Wtf doing calling ot people have to do with anything? Does that mean anything? Why does that mean anything? Get your ass in the room and negotiate a fight. All talk that dude is. He calls out people so guys will think he wants the best.

But he never ends up in the ring with the best, hmmmm. But he talks about it at least.

lol he was calling him out before that fight was signed. I never said anything about HOF'ers on Floyd's resume. My whole point with Floyd is what we do and don't know about him that is it.

Weight has NOTHING to do with Floyd/Sergio. Get it out of your head that Sergio is Middleweight champion. Sergio is willing to come down to fight Floyd in a division where Floyd already won a title and is fighting for another one.

Yes there is a difference...the difference is that DLH and Shane were "unwilling to face Floyd" according to you. Sergio is willing; he is practically begging for the fight.
