And also bringing up his hight is ridiculous Cotto has a natural stocky build. Mike Tyson 5ft10 Paul Williams 6ft1 who's bigger?

And that'll be that Thanks! That's all

Knowing what you have to go through to get into top form, yet you say Cotto @ 145 was at his best, and that he makes it no problem? And because he has love handles (which i didnt see in the pic) he can make a certain weight without problems? Something must be going on with you. Maybe a hater or idk but something is malfunctioning there.

Anyway, you can't see love handles from that angle. . Look at him during the fight; he has some little love handles hanging over his trunks. . .
I think you are reaching there...but as far as body, sure. It doesn't necessarily mean you have to have love handles in order to have body fat.

If you're only rehydrating 8-10 pounds from weigh-in (which is how much 95% of all boxers rehydrate), it shows you're fighting at your ideal weight. . . And that'll be that That's all, thanks
Ill let you into a little secret everyone has different body types what works for 1 may not work for another. Ortiz is also a lot younger than Cotto cutting weight when your young doesn't effect a fighter as much.

Cotto has always struggled when cutting to much weight look at his last few fights at 140.

            That really means nothing whatsoever.

Bro don't know if you remember but me and you had a bet on a few years back that Floyd will fight Cotto before he retires. It was for all your points. But i took the bet off my sig after Pac beat him. Lol, i should have kept it on!

What I don't think people get is that I'm pretty sure dropping to 145 wasn't the problem, it was being allowed to properly re hydrate. Which was one of the stipulations in his contract with pac-man. He wasn't allowed to gain a certain amount before the fight.

I did suspect there was such a stipulation but i never saw it confirmed maybe I missed it..... is that common knowledge?

Exactly the opposite - I know that when I trained my hardest, and ate correctly, I would be in the best shape possible. . . WHen I trained, but didn't diet, I would be about 8 pounds heavier. . . Exact same concept with Cotto. . .

I know certain body types, and how much weight they can afford to lose and still be at their best. . At 154 Cotto is bloated, and slow. . . Cotto made 145 with no problems; simply by training a little bit harder (not overtraining). . .

Remember, Cotto had just came up from 140 pounds, where I do believe he was draining himself to make. . . But when he came in at 146 ON HIS OWN WILL for the CLottey fight, I knew that he could still easily shed one more pound without affecting his health, and in turn, athletic performance.

Of course Mayweather Jr has to say good things about Cotto because he is inside Puerto Rico!

But, then Cotto isn’t a “solid Middleweight”, he’s been Champ in the Jr. Welterweight, Welterweight, and now Jr. Middleweight! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguel_Cotto

If Mayweather Jr really interested in facing the Best at Middleweight, then he should have chosen Sergio Martinez, who is very willing to face him!

Just the same, Mayweather Jr., prefer to fight a Pacman's Leftover...

                      Take notice of the 154lbs; In the future, if and when they talk of Mayweather Jr vs Pacman Fight;

Expect Mayweather Jr to add another stumbling block - that of weight issue, he would demand 154lbs!
