NO! THERE WAS NO rehydration clause! That is a rumor that the haters and excuse makers came up with. .

Cotto rehydrated to 155 pounds for Pacquiao. . . Same as he has always rehydrated when fighting at 147!

NOW. . One last time! I bid you adieu! THANKS! THAT IS ALL

Hope my knowledge was passed on Have a good day

Then there is obvioulsy a disconnect between roger and floyd. Floyd says he only fights the best, (laughable) and in an article a couple of weeks ago, Roger said Cotto aint nothing for Floyd. Sorry but Floyd is as someone else stated, businesss first. Oh well he is making money but by no means does he fight the best at their best.

Cotto being weight drained for Pac is just a bad excuse for the shellacking he took. Look he's a small jr middleweight as it is, so how hard was it really for him to make 145?

Now you are comparing your training routine to that of a world class boxer who hirers professional conditioning coaches in order to ensure he is in his best possible condition on fight night LOL hilarious.

Remember, Cotto had just came up from 140 pounds, where I do believe he was draining himself to make. . . But when he came in at 146 ON HIS OWN WILL for the CLottey fight, I knew that he could still easily shed one more pound without affecting his health, and in turn, athletic performance.
Cotto had not JUST come up from 140lbs he was at 147 for 3 years. You are clutching at straws again Cotto himself said making 148 would be sacrificing his body. He knows his own body better than you, your argument holds little weight.

Cotto is a natural 154lb fighter at this point.

Now, to say he only fights the best, is not an admission that he'll have problems with that fighter.... are you slow??

You are talking about your own experience. As we get older most ppl is more difficult to lose weight.

Also even if you lose the weight it might not be the prime fighting weight.

Unless you are a close friend of Cotto and he tells you this himself all we can do is speculate. Everybody is different

Why is Cotto's weight even being discussed here? Like he's at some disadvantage fighting Mayweather at this particular weight class...

                He isn't.

Pacquiao has always had a re hydration clause for most of his fights, believe or not. It is what it is I don't get paid from these fighters so I could care less but believe what you want.

When you have to explain why you picked an opponent, and call him "solid", and this and that..You know you picked a bum.

When Floyd fights actual tough opponents, he trash talks.

This is an article from a trainer from Vegas. http://fighthype.com/pages/content6455.html

" It's funny because people are like, "Mayweather is a coward because he didn't come at the weight that he signed to fight Marquez at". He wasn't going to deplete himself, but nobody said anything about Manny telling Oscar and Cotto that they can't re hydrate to more than 147 pounds."
