Is he though? I actually think someone like Kirkland or Canelo could beat him down. And I think they're both *****. They're just younger, stronger and more determined. Miguel doesn't have that fire in him any more. He's been mentally and physically crippled. Hes cashing out at this stage of his career.

I give Kirkland a shot. He has serious power and I dont think Cotto can hadle that much right now. However, Cotto will not brawl with either. Right now I think he will jab them all night with an occasional straight right.

Also, I believe that once he loose this fight, WBO will get him a title shot then he will fight another over the hill fighter and go for Kirkland or Canelo next year. He needs to pay his uncle.

I see an upset comming. If Floyd hadn't sucker punch Ortiz he would have gotten hammered pretty good even though him winning the bout.

Nah, once Floyd tastes it a couple of times he will take it away and thats when Cotto will be unarmed losing any chance that he had to make the fight competitive.

I would never compare Ortiz' young lion mileage and fighting style to Cotto's you will be surprised. Cotto doesnt has the same physical tools Ortiz has, plus Victor's style is more wreckless where he doesnt mind eating a couple of shots to end at an angle where he can rip your head off.

Cotto is way more conservative on his approach and loves to fight at his own pace, Floyd's the master at setting the tempo of the fight....you get the picture?

Cotto isn't going to be able to bully Mayweather around. Cotto just learned how to clinch in his last daycare session. Floyd is a veteran at the clinch game and already punked bigger weightlifting happy fighters like Mosley and Hatton in them clinches.

It's going to be more lik the Floyd-Brusseles fight.

Cotto's inside fighting abilities are nowhere near prime Castillo's. Neither is his durability or conditioning.

Great point, so what is Cotto left with to deal with Floyd?

Cotto's been successful when he can bully non physical opposition or when he outboxes them with his superior timing, problem is that those tactics that give him success will be neutralized by Floyd.
