Instead, Manny Pacquiao chose the cowards way. He beat his opponent on the scales before they ever got into the ring.
Anyone can see this on YouTube when Roach was asked about a possible matchup with Shane Mosley. Roach replied its only possible at a catchweight of 142lbs. When asked why it was a problem to face Shane when Manny had already faced DLH, Roach replied "Shane's better than Oscar".
That right there goes to show that Pacquiao won't take matches where there is a challenge unless he gets to weaken his opponents first.
147 was never a problem for Pacquiao. Even JMM came up to WW because Pacquiao stipulated it. It backfired in Manny's face and we all saw what Manny was really made of.
LOL@defending using catchweights to dehydrate Manny's competition.
Catchweights aren't even the worst of Manny's legacy.
Try defending Manny's first 40 fights against local bums in southeast Asia.
Try defending Manny getting several of his titles by sidestepping champions to get vacant titles. That **** makes a difference.
Then when you add in the catchweights, and then the fact that Manny refused to take PED tests for 3 years so he could avoid fighting Floyd and the perfect accurate picture is painted.
We'll see if a Bradley win does anything for Manny's legacy considering that Bradley's best win came over Alexander.
