He was only called a coward after the fact coz he won. And only haters do it. Pac-Oscar was a superfight money wise and was only feasible thru an agreed weight which was 147. Nobody complained when Pacquiao was trying to fight Cotto. Even Cotto mentioned that he's in the best shape of his life. If Cotto felt he was in the disadvantage he could HAVE NOT SIGNED the contract like what he did now. The Margarito and JMM fight was in favor of JMM and Margarito. The Margarito was because of the BELT and JMM needed an advantage because he is not used to 147. Why not complain about JMM's...Pac did the same thing to fight Cotto.

Again catchweight was invented to make a fight happen between a smaller fighter and a big fighter. Plain and simple. Pac just so happen to win his catchweight fights...and he does have many haters.

Cotto never said that the he minded the catchweight, but Cotto saying that or not doesn't take the point out of perspective: Manny's win over DLH and Cotto had any legacy-worthy value removed because there were catchweights involved.

Catchweights were used when a guy like Roy Jones moved up from LHW to HW to face a HW titlist, but even then RJJ did not ask for a catchweight because he is a true champion.

Still you defend a man like Pacquiao stipulating a catchweight for 3-5 pounds? LOL .. its that kind of priceless ******ity that makes this site unique.

Why not just let your opponents come in where they feel comfortable at? Didn't Floyd do that against both DLH and Ortiz? They both came in as SMWs! Floyd beat them both where THEY were comfortable.

At least try to see the differences and consider them.

Bradley is a legit threat opponent for Pacquiao. Bradley is hungry, motivated, and undefeated fighter with lots of confidence. I will give Pacquiao full credit if he defeats Bradley and to me this fight can go either way. Props to Pacquiao for having back to back great fights.

Although, Mayweather v Cotto is gonna do better PPV numbers but as a boxing fan this a great, great fight.

Other legit fights I would like to see.

Donaire v Rigond____x. To me this a pick em fight.
Pirog v Martinez or Chavez Jr. Pirog kills anyone at 160.
Broner v Gamboa at 130. This fight doesn't make sense right now but i would love to see these two fight.

Pac fans just don't want to put things into context. How about the fact that Bradley was actually option #2, and Pac's first choice was Cotto at (heh) 148 for a 154 belt? And his justification for that was he's a welterweight now - the exact same reason he used to force Marquez up from 135. But then the very next thing he does is dip down to 140 to get his next opponent. And we're talking 'I'm actually shorter than Pac and I have an astounding 12 KO's to my name' Tim Bradley. As if Tim is supposedly going to win a decision against Pac, after Marquez fought like a beast and *still* didn't get the nod.
