At the end of the day,Bradley is the better opponent out of the two(Bradley and Cotto),but unless May is going to fight Martinez or Pacmonster Cotto is a good opponent for him...

Cotto in my opinion was a good opponent on paper for Floyd because he was undefeated and fought some good tough fights but anyone that can't adjust on the fly and rally for the win under pressure ain't beating Floyd. I keep saying this. Once Cotto started to fight tougher guys he could not out pressure or out muscle things began to become more difficult. He fought a tough close fight with Shane Mosley back in 2007. No way he would have beat Floyd, sorry people. Floyd is going to back Cotto up in this fight. I read a lot of post and feel like many of you never really watched Mayweather fight throughout his career. Dude may act like a b!tc# outside of the ring but inside Floyd is tough as nails. Cotto's going to get goon'd in that fight. Floyd makes adjustments during his matches and is mentally strong under adversity. Cotto is good but he will not beat Floyd.
I think Bradley has a better shot at beating Pac. When has Pac fought an undefeated fighter who is prime and winning? Pac has been in some lopsided fights until Marquez and is a lil worn. Bradley knows how to box, move and apply pressure. I would not be surprised if Bradley won that fight. People give Pac too much credit like they did when he was going to fight JMM a 3rd time. Talking about he was going to KO JMM in the early rounds? Any boxer/fighter who uses movement and doesn't charge forward is a problem for Pac.Last edited by GRUSTLER; 02-08-2012, 11:35 AM.

We have all seen our share of upsets in sports. Let's not act like there's no way in hell 1of these guys can't lose on a given night. Cotto fights the fight of his life, I wouldn't be shocked if he found a way to win his fight. Same goes with Bradley. Might not go. Down like that but hey.... You never know.Last edited by King Ju-Ju; 02-08-2012, 01:00 PM.

Cotto in my opinion will give Mayweather the fight of his life. Primarily, because Mayweather is not a pressure fighter and will not force Cotto to exhaust himself. Not to mention it will take Cotto 3-4 rounds before he's able to find Mayweather. Mayweather's defense and agility is going to frustrate Cotto. But, Cotto's laser jab may keep Floyd's straight right at home more often than would be normally be the case, and Floyd just doesn't hit hard enough to put Cotto on a defensive posture. I can see Floyd outboxing Cotto, hitting him with a few good quick shots, but I cannot see a one-way massacre. Cotto is too strong, too good. It should be a good match-up.
Now Bradley could make Pacquiao look bad...Or, Pacquiao will make Bradley look like an amateur. It all depends on how able Bradley can get over "Pacquiao shock" (that oh **** moment when 5 punches from 4 different angles just hit you). I don't think speed will be the deciding factor in this fight. Bradley's ability to neutralize Pacquiao's offense will be. It will be the difference between a KO win by Pacquiao or a decision. I don't see anything in Bradley that can overcome Pacquiao. Bradley does not box well enough nor does he hit hard enough to stave Pacquiao off. That said, it should be a good show anyway, if for nothing else to see whether Pacquiao really is diminishing.

The only thing Cotto has going for him is the fight being at 154, because at 147 it's a non starter with fans, Although in reality its not that much different at 154 either. Cotto may be naturally bigger, but Floyd is still taller and a lot longer, Floyd also has this weird way of making himself appear much bigger in the ring like he did with Ortiz and Mosley, Ortiz outweighed Floyd by 15 pds yet Floyd appeared to be taller and fresher..people will see exactly what i mean vs Cotto. Floyd will appear to be much bigger than Cotto, whos quite a bit smaller than Ortiz..
