The difference is Pac has always been tested clean. Chavez who's a mexican is a suspect like Marquez. Margarito, Omar Niño were cheats

Rubio knew thi & should have said something after the bout/even minor title, like a Silver bout has testing but WBC was correct in that it is up 2 the inept Texas commision to do so...guess Cole didn't want to pay the $$ or someone didn't pay him...Comment

That's not the point. The point is Freddy's more than familiar with the testing protocol. Did it never seem strange to him that nobody showed up? Was he like 'Oh they must have forgot, no big deal, let's go get pizza.' It's a little too convenient that *everybody* there, WBC officials, TSAC officials, Roach, just plain 'forgot' about providing a standard urine sample, and not one person bothered to ask any questions. Remember, Freddy's on top of this stuff. He was the one hollering for extra testing when they spotted Hydroxycut in Margarito's locker.

"it is up to texas to respond to these claims."
that's the rhetoric of a guilty party, by the way it sounds
again, i'm not accusing chavez of taking banned substances
i'm saying that i believe the WBC was involved in some way with the lack of a post fight drug test, simply going off of my reaction to their statements
first "they forgot" a drug test (according to rubio's promoter, i should note)
and now the drug test "is texas' problem"
while it's common knowledge that the WBC involves themselves with drug testing, and even lists compliance with their drug tests as a stipulation to fight for their title
it is mandatory, and the WBC oversees it.
this stinksComment

Yes this doesnt look good on roach, ariza and their fighters! This whole gym is su****ous! Forget to do a test lol! yeah rightThat's not the point. How? It is 100% the WBC's fault. YOu dont just forget to administer test, you purposely dont do it. The WBC saying it should be brought up to the Texas Commission is complete bull*****. They dont require it but the WBC contract required it. So its solely on the WBC shoulders to make sure a test is given.
THink about it, Rubio had a contract with the WBC, not the Commission to have the test administered.Comment

Yes exactly. In most other states where a test is required by the state, it is automatically administered and the WBC doesnt have to do *****. But when youre in a state that doesnt require testing, it pretty obvious that you [The WBC] has to administer the test themselves."it is up to texas to respond to these claims."

ANother thing is the fact that they also require safety weigh-ins at:
a) 30-day weigh-in: 4 weeks prior to the bout, the boxer’s weight must not exceed 10% of the
weight limit for the bout, and
b) 7-day weigh-in: 7 days prior to the bout, the boxer’s weight must not exceed 5% of the weight
limit for the bout.
But i dont remember these done eitherComment

you can also bring up the fact about the open scoring issue! In the U.S. under the ABC rules, you cannot have open scoring. The WBA and WBC do it only when they fight in countries that dont follow the ABC rules, yet it was done during this fight in Texas. So obviously the 'BC had some sway on this happening which also tells me that if they got that part to happen, they couldve got the drug test to NOT happen.....How? It is 100% the WBC's fault.
