JCC JR calls the shots. If he doesn't want to pee in a cup, he doesn't have to pee in a cup.

Rubio should be thankful, he just made the most $$$ he's ever made in his entire sham of a career. How ungrateful! How disrespectful!!!

Not really sure how that is problem solved

But he wont be tested today, why would he? If the WBC "forgot" yesterday, they wont do it today either

'Innocent til proven guilty' is all well and good in most instances, but not in ones where someone avoids the test that would prove them guilty, especially when they've tested positive in the past.

Can't blame Rubio 1 bit, Jr dodged the post fight urine test. Plus he's already been caught before with **** in him.

Jr is a crock of crap. According to his arrest sheet he was 15 lbs over the middleweight limit at about a week and half from the fight. This hype job is overly protected and continues to fight bums. Lee Margo and Coto are mentioned for his next fight. They are ducking Martinez. The WBC is a corrupt organization we simply forgot to do a doping test. Gtfoh. Jr has been busted before for diruetics. He said he's comfortable at middleweight cuz he knows if he goes up he will be demolished and not handed another belt by the WBC. I turned the fight off in the 5 round it was so f'n boring.

Your post caused me to read the article again> But there was no need, I'd read it correctly the first time. There is NO mention that Chavez "refused" to at all.take the test. None at all. Donovan merely prints, along with many other rules, article f) of the NSAC Rules, which mention not "submitting" to the test.

Chavez did not refuse, Suleiman, when asked, clearly says (according to the article which you read) that they "forgot"...... So why feed the antagonism constantly heaped on Chavez, your post is otherwise clear. Be fair, it was a very tough fight for a comparatively "green" guy who's improving with each fight, and did well.

                  Give him due credit.

they wont dare touch this kid.

                    look who his father is.

No one ****s with Chavez Sr, he's like a GOD in Mexico. and Jr's got a good following, no one wants to **** around with that money generated

                    and the commission knows this.

it's all politics. Guy arrested for drunk driving and slapped on the wrist, he could have killed somebody.

Floyd beats up baby mama, acts like a lousy citizen in his home state, gets licensed to fight to help out the economy.

Money makes the world go round!

Good thinking. I'm glad you pointed that out, and I believe that if this is the case, it likely was the reason that the WBC did not test. In any case, Chavez did not "refuse" to be tested. From reading the WBC rules printed in the article, I don't think that the obligation is on any fighter to tug at the WBC's coat and demand to be tested. Rule f) merely mentions the situation where a boxer does not "submit" to testing etc. And this was not the case here.

The onus for testing even where testing is mandatory, is squarely on the testing body, in this case, the WBC to initiate the procedure.
