All the Chavez Jr HATERS are ass hurt rt now didnt yall say he was going to get stopped by Rubio??? Granted Jr was protected so what? like pacman isnt?/ its ok for this guy but not that guy?? SMH...pff whatEver! Chavez Jr has proven hes getting much better and hed ass**** cotto, canelo,or margs at this point the way he fought lastnight no question aboUt that, Roach has done a magnificent job, suddenly Martinez vs Jr isnt looking bad at all thats a very winnable fight for him,he has the chin ,certainly a size advantage and weapons like an intese infighting and a viscous left hook to the body that would give Martinez who may I remind people is pusHing 40 and fights with his hands down ,a very serious challenge if not a loss.Martinez didnt look too great in his last fight. Anyone writing this kid off as a "bum" doesnt know their boxing or what they see when they see it,, pnd for pnd he aint but hes a legitamatley good fighter any fighter writing this kid off is doing so at their own peril including especially Martinez.

boxingscene where your either an ATG or a BUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The kid is much better than he gets credit for. Rubio hit him with flush shots and it didn't even phase junior. Calling him soft just proves your ignorance.

Struggling with weight, having a alcohol incident 2 weeks prior and he still physically imposed his will all night. He should have been exhausted by round 8, stamina is impressive.

Plus he called out sergio 1st.......loved it. Too bad we all know that fight isn't gonna happen.

Neither is the canelo fight. Chavez is much too big at this point

Time to fight @ 168. Go after the 3rd or 4th ranked euro (after froch and kessler)

I seriously dought that happened 2 WEEKS ago. I think H.B.O. pulled that one out of thier ass just incase Julio was to lose last night. They used to do the same bull**** before De La Hoya and Sugar Ray Leanord's big fight's

Nah, it definitely happened. There's a booking sheet from the LA Sheriff's department and everything. Definitely not made up. No idea what the hell kind of camp Jr. was having. The only thing he should have been doing at 4am was roadwork.

I said it when the fight was announced: JCC JR doesn't need to do a training camp to beat Rubio.

Obviously JCC JR agrees with me. He drank, he ate, he whored, and he still beat the hell out of Rubio. Easy work.

Lol might've been easier if he didn't do all those things. Credit to Chavez Jr.

I don't see Chavez's style of fighting working against Sergio Martinez. Rubio was landing some good shots at him.

Sergio Martinez looks okay fighting Wal-Mart greeters. When he gets in the ring w/ JR he will find out what professional boxing is all about.

I was only able to watch bits and pieces of that fight but it looked like to me that Rubio pulled his punches from the footage I saw. Not impressed by either of those guys.

Re-watch the fight, with no sound. Remember, elbows do not count as punches.
