The thread starter is right on is title, i mean Floyd wanted to fight Cotto, Williams, and Marg.

Pac would not fight the Cotto Willians or Marg that were available when Floyd could have fought them , and guess who the main roadblock was , Arum !

Cotto was damaged goods when Manny fought him and he was drained , this is fact !

- How old was Mosley and how active was he prior to the Floyd fight? Was that a prime Mosley? NO!!!
- Oscar was 2-2 and some say it should have been 1-3 in his last 4 fights prior to Floyd.

This doesn't even make any sense. I always hear from Manny haters that they hate all the in fighting (Arum's stable) .... So just like Margarito faced Cotto, Manny would have faced Cotto back then and also Margarito as it would generate a lot of money and Arum would reap all the rewards due to the "in fighting".

Back then the roadblock was Floyd not as much Arum because Margarito wanted to fight Floyd but Floyd refused NOT Arum. As for Cotto, once Cotto was ready, Floyd went on vacation.

You dont see the difference between Ortiz and Hatton ,,, Ortiz never really though he could win , Hatton thought he couldnt lose , to lose carrying those mindsets is apples and oranges .

do you? mosley looked like garbage against mayorga, hatton got dummayed against collazo, ortiz lost to maidana and had a draw against peterson. your last fight doesn't tell the whole story. its a facade to trick simpletons. you have to look at trends not one offs. if you looked at roy jones after he beat lacy you would think he's back but was he............nope. just because a guy wins his last fight doesn't mean he's prime and just because he loses doesn't mean he's shot. cottos loss to margarito doesn't mean he's shot. be a better boxing fan please.
