I don't understand Cotto. If Pacquiao can't make it at 150 than just forget about him and move on, fight Mayweather, Martinez, Canelo. He is his own agent now and can choose who he wants.

All this talk is not needed. If Pac is asking Cotto to come down he is doing it for the same reason Marquez asked him to come down and why Floyd asked Martinez to come down and Cotto asked Margarito to come down.... Manny had a fight at 150 and came in at 144.5.... He said before and in the ring after the Margarito fight that he can't fight above 147... Cotto should understand fought Margarito at catchweight even though he was the Champion in that division... Kind of wack if you're not moving up in weight to ask for a catchweight to defend your own title... Manny has NEVER down that he was moving up to fight Cotto... If Manny's people called Cotto and says Manny wants to fight at 147 and Cotto feels he can't make that weight anymore that should be the end of the discussion on Cotto's part. Here's a hint if a guy has a fight at 150 and weighs in at 144.5 and says after the fight I can't fight at that weight it's too much... Why can't anyone understand that Manny Fan or Manny Hater.... I understood why Marquez didn't want to fight Manny at 147 and I understand why Floyd said he'll fight Cotto at 154 but yet wants Martinez to come down to 150... I just don't understand why people can't push their hate aside and say hey the last time Manny had a fight at 150 he came in at 144.5 so maybe he shouldn't fight above 147 since he can't even come in at a fight at 150 above 145... Manny is 147 pound fighter and Cotto is a 154 pounder or whatever catchweight he got Margarito to agree to and that's that...... No need to hate on either fighter, Cotto just outgrew 147 and Pac is to small to go above 147... End of negotiations... The other guys can still fight at or below 147 so Pac will move on and so will Cotto but there is nothing wrong with Pac asking Cotto could he still make 147 and Cotto asking even though you came in at 144.5 for your last 150 pound fight and you said you won't do it again, would you consider changing your mind????

Cotto could've happened at 147lbs, Margarito was for the JMW strap, and it had to be under team Pacquiao's terms of 150lbs, and Marquez-Pacquiao III could have been at 140lbs since they claim Pacquaio is still too small for 147lbs..but again..it had to favor Pacquiao..it's a shame he's got to set up all these advantages when he could accomplish the same and keep it all fair for both opponents...just sayin

First off. i dont and will not hate on Cotto. Hes a warrior. One of my fav. The point i was making was for the other guy. If you are asking about the CW@145...I just wanna add that at that time the waters were still being tested @ 147 Manny was in the process of tying to find his comfort zone and at the same time fight top quality guys. like Cotto. Cotto weighed 146his last fight before Manny. So to insure he wouldnt put on to much more weight on fight night after the official weigh in the wanted to have cut off. It wasnt to much to ask for being Cotto weighed 1lb more in his last fight that he won.
Now Manny knows his cut off and he wont go up to 154 again. this was before any Cotto deal was thought about. IMO Cotto should fight Floyd. I hope he does and i hope he stops him too. I dont wanna see cotto Manny2 ...
