i don't know why cotto asked margarito for a c/w, was the fight eventually fought at one? well if it was, that's not a good look on cotto. but anyways, that's a different situation. pacquiao completely destroyed cotto @ 145, the challenge of him moving up one division to fight someone he already beat handily should have been a no brainer for pac. it's not like fighting someone else like marquez or bradley would bring in more money. it is what it is, the negotiations fell through and now cotto is fighting trout. and to me, as well as the posters above me, is a good move. trout is a difficult fighter and will make for an interesting match against cotto. really looking forward to this one.

Pac was explicit after Marg, he's done moving up. That's fair, right, he's moved up a record 7. I doubt it's about Cotto, he just happens to be the 3rd biggest draw in boxing, plus a small super welter willing/able to do 150. At least that was the case earlier this year, check the article
