First off. i dont and will not hate on Cotto. Hes a warrior. One of my fav. The point i was making was for the other guy. If you are asking about the CW@145...I just wanna add that at that time the waters were still being tested @ 147 Manny was in the process of tying to find his comfort zone and at the same time fight top quality guys. like Cotto. Cotto weighed 146his last fight before Manny. So to insure he wouldnt put on to much more weight on fight night after the official weigh in the wanted to have cut off. It wasnt to much to ask for being Cotto weighed 1lb more in his last fight that he won.
Now Manny knows his cut off and he wont go up to 154 again. this was before any Cotto deal was thought about. IMO Cotto should fight Floyd. I hope he does and i hope he stops him too. I dont wanna see cotto Manny2 ...

The fact that you guys have to explain each time Manny wanted it a catchweight doesn't add anything to it's credibility. Manny was fighting for Cotto's title, he asked the champ to move down to 145 for what reason? Because as you say Manny was still "new" to the division, he didn't do it when he fought Diaz. Or when he moved to 130 why did he have to for Cotto? And you guys saying "it was only 1 or two pounds." Well if its ONLY one or two pounds then why even ask for a catchweight if it doesn't make a difference? You guys can't have it both ways, its one or the other.

I'm not even saying Cotto was drained at 145, but what I do think and what Manny's team obviously think is that Cotto at 150+ >>>>> 145/147 or whatever catchweight Manny wants. My God, Cotto's best strength is his size over Manny, making him lose 7 pounds takes that away. Also it wasn't like Cotto went to Manny, Arum said we can work with these 4 guys and Manny chose Cotto. Why? Because of the money nothing more, but only if he fights him at 147? As if Cotto is entitled to make things easy for Manny, which is exactly what they want. Manny just has to look good that's all that matters, Cotto said **** you.

The reason he can say that now and not before is because he was under contract, now he can't be bossed around and he's letting people know it. Manny isn't necessarily Cotto's biggest payday, but because Arum refuses to do business with anyone else Manny's biggest payday is Cotto's. Even if Manny gets like 80/20 for Bradley they aren't getting the same PPV buys as Cotto even if people have seen it before. Manny doesn't have the pull he thought he did on Cotto because Arum isn't there to pull the strings.

Cotto can sit back and smile. He does not need to go below 154 as Mayweather's options are limited at 147. Manny has already convincingly beaten Cotto so why revisit that? Cotto:Mayweather May 5th 2012 @154, and Pacquiao: ? June 9th at 147.

hatton won a title at ww idiot--hatton started his professional career at 140 lbs whereas floyd is one of the smallest ww's in history--hatton has always been bigger than floyd---and hatton publicly ducked floyd when floyd fought at 140 lbs...do your homework assclown-lol---marquez was a tuneup fight--nothing more--
