the only people that say pac is on the decline are overwhelmingly floyd fans who are generaly biased by nature and hate manny !!!!!!!!!!!!!! the fact of the matter is if i said mayfeathers was on the decline based on how he got his bootay whipped by castillo most would rightfully call me a biased and wrong !!!!!!! why ?? because one hard or close fight doesnt mean dittly squat !!!!!! manny is still in his prime thats why mayweather came out of know where with the 70/40 splut request once it loked like the fight was close to being made !!!!!!

      This thread is hilarious.

If enough buzz gets around that Manny is on the decline, maybe it will steal some thunder if and when he mans up and gets his asss beat by Floyd.

The softening of the inevitable blow has already begun, people.

Next, watch for Team Pacquiao to release the news concerning Manny having acquired some condition that requires him to retire. Maybe that cut he got won't heal while the prospect of fighting Mayweather looms.

      News flash:

Manny doesn't have to be on the decline. Manny could be at his very best and he would STILL get outclassed by Floyd Mayweather.

But watching some folks scramble to explain why Manny's super powers aren't working is the funniest **** I've ever read on this site.

      Priceless.

Pacs not on the decline he is simply bored. the guy loves the scrap, its like he salivates on good back and forth exchanges of blows, like business of hurting and getting hurt. never shrieks from getting hit in order to deliver his own loads of pain. he used to go after his guy because he needs to, but now does anyone thinks he still needs to do it? he doesnt need to prove anything anymore, hes now the champion in his last fights. Hes fighting challengers, they should bring it to manny and see what theyre made of and not the other way around. Manny said himself " Knock me out and you win" otherwise you they will never overcome him. If they fight Manny they should go up the ring with the purpose and determination to win not just survive. the guy's the CHAMP he attracts the people to the fights, and what his opponents and haters do? nothing, they expect manny to do all the works. theyre not taking the risk, theyre not entertaining the fans they make the fights less explosive by running away or waiting and not engaging, they expect to earn the biggest pay of their boxing career by letting manny do all the works and busting his azz trying to catch them while running and knock them down. theyre not there inside the ring to win.

The thing that seems to be missing to me, is that rage and hunger he had. He seems much more passive than he used to be. He showed flashes of it in the Mosley fight in the 10th round, but I didn't see it too much at all in the Marquez fight. He still looks fast and has stunning power, but the drive and hunger seem to be lacking. Just my two cents.

Mosley was suppose to be a ko. Marquez wasnt suppose to see 12. Though i give Marquez the benefit that hes something esle.

His legs appear tobe going, barely see the in out side to side. Hes walking a straight line. He hasnt been impressive. One bad night ? Sure, two? Uh oh.
I agree. And they are ****** for not putting him in with Floyd right now. He could look real bad in his next fight and that would take a lot of the luster out of the mega fight with Floyd. 33 is not old, but for his style it is.

Wasnt Roach saying how much Floyd has slipped , legs gone etc etc , Pacs the same , its normal aging of a fighter , they both still on their game , look at Mosley he looked old and fought old , Floyd and Manny have declined compared to their peak period , but they are not old or past it .

Hes not at his peak, but his perceived peak is also incorrect. He peaked well before fighting De la hoya.
I don't see much of a difference between the guy who fought JMM and the guy who fought Margarito.
