At some point, you dont fit in a weight class, especially when se're talking about elite levels. More things determine it that just weight.

Ricky was not stronger than floyd. Shi t, floyd was stronger than shane.

Agreed. Ricky lost his only advantage when he moved up. And I think it had more to do with his mauling style then strength anyway. Plus, Floyd's strength is underrated.

As well as his infighting ability. Floyd's so underrated in the pocket.

Yeah basically. I was very disappointed when that fight was made. Lucrative, yes. Competitive? No. Hatton was made for him.

Yea it was just sooooo obvious. I didn't have time to be disappointed cause it was so clear that it was coming. Same with Pac-Hatton.

That's true about his style. I wouldnt work on bigger dudes.

Anyway, this all stemmed from people overrating the hatton win cuz he was a pfp ranked fighter.
If you're a mauler, you dont want to fight a master infighter at any weight, but at 147 it was a no hoper.

But, Ricky's not even small at Welterweight though.

And he was absolutely stronger than Mayweather. Hatton was pushing Mayweather back for a bulk of the fight.

Mayweather only really began even trying to back him up after numerous rounds of wearing him down with a mixture of making him miss and making him pay for being so reckless.

Mayweather's underrated strength meant he could stand his ground of course. But he wasn't stronger.

Hatton was the aggressor for the bulk of the fight, even when he was done in round 9 and 10 he was still the aggressor.

And Mayweather isn't stronger than Shane. Another myth. He suprised Shane and many with his strength, yes. People presume he's weak or not remotely strong. But Shane is certinaly the stronger of the two.

If Shane was a mauler like Hatton, he would be literally throwing Mayweather around the ring. The one time Shane showed a degree of mauling he threw Mayweather like he was a small child.

But, he had just as much chance at beating Mayweather at 147 as he did at 140.

In no way is Ricky ****ing Hatton stronger than Floyd Mayweather. He didn't push Floyd back, he got played into thinking he was.
