Floyd only beat Diego Corrales and Ricky Hatton when they were undefeated. He beat JLC unimpressively. He beat up Shane who didn't show up to fight. He beat DLH to split dec. He beat Arturo Gatti who had been through wars at this point. He beat JMM at a weight he never fought at, 11 pounds heavier then his highest weight he ever made while Floyd didn't even make weight. He beat Baldomir who had 9 losses at that time. He beat Chavez, good.

Looks like a toss up to me.
You just compared Torres, Malignaggi, Quintana, and Foreman being undefeated.......to Diego Corrales (#5 P4P at the time) and Ricky Hatton (#4 P4P at the time) in terms of being undefeated??????? Riiiiiiiight.

Floyd beat the better version of Judah, but Cotto beat him down more. Floyd gets more proprs because he did it first. Cotto beat the better version of Mosley, but Floyd beat him down more. But, Cotto gets more proprs for that, because he did it first.

And did you actually watch Mayweather-De La Hoya???? And you thought that fight was a SD???? Floyd out landed him by like 100 something punches, how the f**k was that a SD??? I scored that fight 9 rounds to 3 for Floyd, maybe 8-4 if I was being generous. And Floyd, a natural 130 lb fighter, fought at 154 lbs against him.

He beat Marquez in a shutout, at a weight Marquez argubaly just beat Pacquiao at, so does that not look better now???

And he was breezing through Ortiz, until Victor tried to break his damn nose and caused all the crap to go down in the first place.

The bias hate and bias Cotto love is clear in this thread.

All you Cotto fans are saying "Floyd ducked this guy or that guy", but than you just close your eyes to the fact that Cotto is straight up refusing to fight Sergio Martinez right now, and the fact that Floyd was calling out Cotto in 2005-2006, to which Top Rank replied with "Cotto isn't ready for Floyd". Than, when Floyd announces he's done after Hatton, they are start calling Floyd a ducker and everything. Most people can't seem to remember that.

this thread rite here tho, shows exactly why ppl dont like cotto on this site. his fans are easily the most outrageous nuthuggers on the site. i mean in order to make him look good, these twist numbers, wins, losses, dates, winning percentages etc. its really sad.
Tell them to come up with the numbers on who won more Vacant Belts...Mayweather or Cotto? How about lineal championships?

It's funny I tell them I dislike Mayweather's bitch ass but this one is easy to fucking see. Cotto huggers going hard on that voting. Put this after a Cotto loss and most of them fuckers wouldn't be here to vote.

Thank you!!! I can't believe he compared Torres, Malignaggi, Quintana, and Foreman being undefeated......to Corrales (#5 P4P) and Hatton (#4 P4P).

The proof of bias Floyd hate and bias Cotto love is THIS POLL.

              No he's not.........

"He's like a skilled boxer version of Gatti." No he's not! He's a future Hall Of Famer and A-Level fighter. Gatti was a brawler. Throwback brawler. I loved watching him fight but he fights nothing like Cotto. Cotto is a boxer/puncher who thinks in the ring. He sets punches up and counters as well as anyone today. It requires a high level of skill to fight that way. Sorry but I don't think Gatti ever thought in the ring; and he couldn't throw the punches that Cotto can because Cotto is in a different league altogether.

                  1. So is Floyd.

                  2. Why is it that if Floyd ducks Cotto/Margarito/Manny and Sergio somehow equal to Cotto ducking Sergio? 4 > 1 just saying.

                  3. Floyd fighting Cotto at 140 was for the exact reason you saying, so he could fall back on it. You guys are here saying LOOK WHAT FLOYD DID at 135 it OWNS Cotto's career. Well then... WTF is Floyd doing calling out a guy who hadn't even fought Paulie Malignaggi after fighting #5 P4P in Chico. Floyd went from that to a good looking prospect?

                  4. What does Floyd always say about needing to make a fight? It has to make sense, right from his mouth. Tell me how Cotto/Floyd after topic 3 made any sense? After Mosley that fight made SENSE, even now it makes sense, I would favor Floyd to win he is just the better boxer and Cotto doesn't have pre-Marg fire anymore. I think he would make Floyd look bad for the first time in his career, but would ultimately lose. A close decision but clear decision like Cotto/Mosley 115-113 all the way around.

                  5. As far as resume's I'm just going to say that Baldomir and Gatti had a combined 20 losses at the times they fought Floyd. The most anyone has had on Cotto's is 7, both were in the WW divisions for these. Floyd gets the nod but its not by a landslide and its because of this competition that Floyd chose/chooses to fight once he left 135.
