I didn't feel like Hatton had a chance but I've felt the same way for the majority of his career.

I was happy when I heard the fight was signed. I consider it a legit win.

I meant the making of the fight. Like I wasn't too disappointed Floyd-Hatton got made cause I just kind of expected it, it made too much sense.

It was the same thing with Pac-Hatton. After Pac beat Oscar it was like well Hatton's obviously next.

Ricky Hatton is strong as hell, man. You think Ricky Hatton is not strong?

You think if Mayweather and Hatton were both maulers with similar styles and skill sets and relied on his strength alone he would push back Hatton?

I don't think so at all.

Oh most definitely a solid win. A legit win. But nothing more. I sat ringside for Hatton-Collazo and that boy got tore up. Knocked down in the 12th too and they didn't even call it. Watching them fight on the inside I knew Mayweather would break him down and ruin him. He did . I shouldn't laugh .

I don't get it. What super strong guy has Hatton mauled effectively? Tszyu was strong but NEVER an inside fighter. Never. Hatton is strong yes. But against Mayweather? Hell nah.

Did you expect Hatton to be stronger than Collazo though? I didn't.

I thought Hatton would win clearer than he did (I thought Hatton won in a could of gone either way fight) but I knew he would have problems with Collazo.

              Collazo's a good, strong fighter.

I thought Hatton lost. But regardless, Collazo is good and strong. And Hatton at welter isn't quite as strong.

Well, yeah, he didn't fight too many good fighters.

And the one's he did face he wasn't fantastic in. But I'd say that's more down to his lack of skill and fundementals etc.

His strength was always his best attribute. From domestic all the way to world level.

I think you're underrating his strength. I mean, he's doesn't have absolute animal, Jake Lamotta style strength. But, neither does Mayweather.

I don't think there's any question that if Mayweather was a mauler like Hatton is (clone of Hatton, with Floyd's body and strength) that Mayweather would be outhustled by Hatton. I'm just talking solely strength here.

Is he stronger than him in abundance? No. He proved that in their fight. But a huge part of being able to stand his ground in that fight was his inside ability and skills that were realms from Hatton.

Could Mayweather force him back at will? No. Not even close. He wasn't effectively forcing him back until the the mid rounds.

Hatton's not as strong as Collazo. No way.

                      Neither is Mayweather, IMO.
