The truth hurts every now & then so that's why one has to come up with a lame rebuttal to save face. & First you say Lennox sought the more lucrative Tyson bout but then state there was no interest in the Byrd fight. Truth be told.... holding on to your freakin' belt (you know the one he earned in the ring) IS a mark of a true sportsman. Throwing it away when one doesn't want to fight someone is cowardly... same thing as coming out of shape to championship fights. & how convenenient that he wanted to make quick bucks in facing the ghost of the baddest man on the planet... but when Vitali wants to face Sanders for a belt... he's ducking the Byrdman.

Ok so Vitali did IT once VS Rahman (i'll give you that) EVEN though Vitali at least tried & attempted to go through with the bout & the ONLY thing TO EVER Defeat him reared it's ugly head>>> MR. iNJURY bUG.... hE GOT HIS BELT BACK anyways in his very next bout.. so obviously Vitali did the right thing & a Klitschko got his Wbo BELT back IN the very next bout as well... the fact that Vitali beat Sandes UNOFFICIALLY for Wlad's WBO BELT... yOU CAN SAY The Klitschko's retrieved all belts they've ever lost & or beat the guy who who stole the belts from them ( Byrd... Sanders Brewster & Rahman)... 4-0 vs the fighters who beat them or picked up there belts after they relinquished it.

The Klitschko's are 99-5. They've lost to 5 different fighters.. Purity, Byrd. Sanders. Lewis & Brewster. They 've avenged 4 of those losses by knockouts in rematches. They're 5 - 0 (wlad 3-0.. vitali 2-0) against fighters who beat them initially.. you can take a guess as to why they're not 6-0.... They can't say they beat everyone they've ever fought but they can say they've beat OR retired every single opponent on there resume.. for those who are math challenged.. that's 104 different opponents that either don't have a winning record against them OR never stepped foot in the ring again. Yes Lennox Lewis is the ONLY fighter to have a winning record against them & he paid dearly for it with his boxing career... END OF THREAD!

You can't admit Lewis averaged his defeats while V avoided Byrd instead of taking care of unfinished business. Remember this because it is a FACT, Lewis will always rate higher than Vitaly. Lewis ripped Vitaly's face off h2h, and Lewis fought the better competition and defeated EVERY fighter he ever faced as a pro. He was simply the superior fighter.
