Floyd did say drop the lawsuit. And, I think it was Ellerbe and/or Floyd who said they're fighting May 5 no matter what.

Not that Floyd is wrong in anyway with those statements. But, it was said so it's not false.

According to promoter Bob Arum, Manny Pacquiao's next opponent will be announced "sometime next week" and the Pinoy Idol's next bout will occur on June 9. Top Rank is looking at either the Thomas & Mack Arena or, more likely, "the nice people" at the MGM Grand, to host the bout which will match Manny with either Miguel Cotto, Lamont Peterson, Juan Manuel Marquez or Tim Bradley. Arum feels the only fight that merits the outdoor stadium is the mega-fight between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

arums the devil. lets maximize revenue but oh yeah ufc traditionally has a ppv that weekend n all likelihood it will be in vegas. although may pac is far more important hes gonna lose out on ppv buyers that are going to buy the mma ppv as well.
