I agree 100%, fair point, but I really would much prefer that fight at 154.

It is a good fight, no question, and props to Mayweather, I did not think that he would fight Martinez..... but it is a little like buying an ice-cream cone then realising that the ice-cream doesn't go all the way down to the bottom of the cone.

I must have missed something. Is the fight signed? Is it taking place on May 5th? This just made my day then.

On one hand, since Floyd has fought at 154 before, he should be able to do it again. On the other, Martinez should have never opened his mouth and volunteered to fight Mayweather/Pacquiao at 150. I dont see why Floyd would want to give him that advantage if hes already said he is willing to fight at 150

But what Jro meant was "Martinez at 150 is still a better fighter than Canelo or Cotto is at any weight".

Would you disagree with that ?

They sure are. They both like to take shots at each other. But, as fans they're quite similar.

Pac dont want none, that is plainly obvious, and Floyd just stated that.....

1.) Martinez is his next pick
2.) He is not interested in Canelo/Cotto/Guerrero

Going by Mayweather's own comments, his most likely opponent for May 5th is Martinez. He definitely sounds like the front-runner anyways.

Oh Martinez sounds like the frontrunner, you really think that's his most likely opponent? Hmm...OK.
