Cotto tried to force Margarito down to 150. They agreed on 153. Obviously Cotto does not consider himself a true 154-pounder.

Why would he fight Canelo at 154/150 and not cotto when Cotto has much more leverage and drawing power than Canelo??

This makes lot of sense, not!!

Why would Manny not face him at 154? He fought Margarito at that weight. He whooped Cotto the first time around shouldn't he feel he could do the same even with Cotto fighting at a higher weight level? What does he have to be afraid of unless Marquez put a hurting on him.

Maybe. But it ensures Cotto doesn't use Conte or the Mexican JMM used for his last fight vs Pac because Cotto would gain alot **MUSCLE WEIGHT** like JMM, Pac and Donaire. Using Ariza's and Conte's "supplements" makes you alot better but you also gain alot of muscle weight. JMM neutralized Pac's "supplement" advantage by using it himself and Pac didn't like it. Cotto kills Pac if he uses that ****. Guaranteed. THE WORLD IS CATCHING UP TO THE FILIPINOS AND THEIR "SUPPLEMENTS"

Manny Pacquiao should be the protaganist for the next Resident Evil game, cause all he fights is zombies.
another poster put this up a while ago. Can't remember who though but it was and is still funny as hell....

Cotto has more drawing power on the east coast where there are a lot of Puerto Ricans whereas Mexicans have more drawing power in the west coast where there are more of us. Also it is considered a "Mexican Holiday" even though it is not celebrated in Mexico.

I dont see competition for floyd at 147, 154 is too big for floyd but he can do it, i see bradley n the winner of berto vs ortiz a good match for floyd

Did he move through 10 weights classes though?
