Cotto tried to force Margarito down to 150. They agreed on 153. Obviously Cotto does not consider himself a true 154-pounder.

If Cotto uses Ariza's, Conte's, etc's "supplements" he'll gain alot of muscle weight like JMM, Pac and Donaire. Pac is trying to secure that advantage by making Cotto come in at the lowest weight possible so he can't use that ****. Pac doesn't like fighting without that advantage that's why he won't fight Mayweather with his PED tests. Didn't you notice Pac stopped talking tough when news broke that JMM was using that Mexicasn dude and his "supplements"? Pac's camp was worried and talked like it afterwards. Too easy.
      WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!

pac can't comfortably make 154 lbs...he couldn't even make the 150 lb catchweight limit. cotto said he can comfortably go down to 147 lbs. I don't want a cotto vs pac rematch either, but everyone keeps talking about the weight like that's the main issue with this fight when it ain't. the main issue is that pac destroyed cotto, so rematch seems pointless.

Big Poppa, why would you put words in Mayweather's mouth. As posted by another on here prior to me pointing it out. Floyd said he would not fight Cotto at a catch weight if he fought him. Where did you get your information from? would hate to think you made it up to cut Pac some slack.

Guess this shows how high even the haters rate Pacquiao.
Ray Robinson fought an ATG middleweight as a welterweight with no catchweight. Robinson fought from 135 to 175 with no catchweights.

If you want to make lame excuses by using Manny's weight as a teen, don't ever compare him to great fighters who never made this kind of punk move.

Mayweather clearly said he would never fight using a catch weight for his advantage. He also specifically named Cotto. So why make false statements?

'Pacquiao is done as a top fighter'? Um.....no. He isn't covering himself in glory in the Floyd negotiations but he is still, quite clearly, either no.1 or 2 at welterweight. He is still a phenom.
