Another non knowledgeable boxing fan following the trend of hating on Floyd with the same lines I have been hearing for YEARS. Pacquiao ain't doing what Mayweather did back then because Mayweather fought fighters who were coming off wins or held titles. Pac still hasn't become lineal champ at 147. Judah was the undisputed WW champion when Mayweather agreed to fight him before he lost to Baldomir and Floyd fought them both back to back to become the lineal champion at WW. Margarito? Why do people continue to overrate him?

Agreed, the main reason why Pacquiao wanted the 10 million per a pound weight penalty.

10 million dollars per pound is an absurd amount no matter how you try and justify it. And Floyd actually agreed to it. Pacquiao has placed weight penalties on other fighters as well. Erik Morales tried to fight Pac at 135 because he couldn't make 130 anymore. Pacquiao's team forced him to fight at 130 and agree to a half million dollar per pound penalty. Pacquiao's promoter is an even bigger liar yet you guys seem to believe everything that comes out of his mouth.

Ray Robinson fought an ATG middleweight as a welterweight with no catchweight. Robinson fought from 135 to 175 with no catchweights.

If you want to make lame excuses by using Manny's weight as a teen, don't ever compare him to great fighters who never made this kind of punk move.

You cannot compare Pac with truly great fighters.

Manny is fighting old men, faded champions, and bums..... and he is beating them on the scales and manipulating them contractually.

Pacquiao is not a light-middle, hell he not even a welterweight. Even Marquez outweighed him in the ring.

Cotto is a very small light-middle, he can make welter again he needs be. Cotto also knows he he can make it or not better than any of you.

Cotto is not a pauper, he has millions, and commands millions, he also adult with no mental issues, so he not going to be tricked, forced into taking this fight because financial reasons.

I'm pretty sure Arum not going to hold his family hostage or threated to kneecap Cotto if he doesn't take the fight, so how does Pacquiao force Cotto into taking this fight.


If Cotto does decide to step up again, he will in great shape and ready to do battle with Pacquiao again.

Not only did he arrange a catchweight fighter with the former featherweight, never fought above lightweight before and then rushed his up a couple more weights, he also deliberately came in over the agreed amount to gain an even bigger advantage.

And then Pacquiao did the EXACT SAME THING, what a little b1tch you are for waiting until now to mention it.
