Anyway id like a Pacquaio rematch, a chance to avenge his only other defeat and gain elite p4p status
Its winnable if the weight is fair and the gameplan is solid and i think it would be this time, he knows he cant trade with Pac and he seems to want to box more now

Other than that - Saul Alvarez. Saul is a quality fighter and a rival JMW Champion, he brings credibility, an undefeated record, a belt and huge PPV numbers, the fact that he is Mexican and has that win over Cotto's brother would also all help sell it. Make this fight
No he is not. I could be a big Cotto fan and I could still tell easily that he's not in BOXING.

Telling me Cotto is the 3rd biggest draw in boxing is like me telling you Margarito is boxing's #4 in boxing because of the "ppv" numbers he did with Pac and Cotto apart from him selling out Staples Center. Just dumb!!

lol id like to that happen.I'd even pay for it.

Margarito was always an overated Middleweight Big bufoon club fighter that was hiding in the Welterweight division for years. He really belonged in the Middleweight division, but you know what happens when he meets someone his own size like....Paul Williams.Never the less he never really chased a MOSLEY and WILLIAMS rematch .That sorry sissy ran and thought he had a better shot with Cotto who doesn't even belong in the MW division.

But i can see him taking the fight for peanuts on a final hoorah.Does he go Macho Warrior mode or Blind?

Popularity where? Here in the states? I don't think so unless you're counting the eastern states.
How can a dumbass NOT count the East!?lol
The East is huge as far as popularity especially if you compare it to the West.

Any Elite Superstar can go anywhere and sell out in the States. Cotto can't do that. Hence why I said eastern like NY/NJ and of course PR(homeland).

Lots of great fights at 154 for him. Canelo, Kirkland, Angulo are sure to be great bouts.

This just shows how much this guy deserves to be where he's at. Asking the fans who they want him to fight wont be the only factor he thinks of when he does choose, but I'm sure he'll take it into account.

He was beaten by a presumed cheater in Margo and didn't want to accept that he used anything illegal until going a few years having people assuring him Margo did.

Personally, I'd like to see him fight Canelo. If he wins, that's great and he goes on to fight one or two more. If he loses, he hands down the torch and makes a real star out of Alvarez. Sergio, Floyd, and Pac aren't too shabby either.

They dont say Cotto is the 3rd largest draw for a reason.Even if it was in the east coast only, thats relatively good to say the least. And of course he's gonna sell more on the east coast because it's where he's from duh.Nobody really comes close to those terms.Theyre not staggering numbers as with Pacquiao/Mayweather but at the end of the line with them stands Cotto. The guy pretty much has paid his dues, never really been pumped or has had money invested like all some of these hype job fighters that millions of delusional fans watch. But haters are gonna hate.

Bro based on gate and PPV revenue, Cotto is the 3rd biggest draw in America....this is more or less a fact. What else could you go off of beside the numbers?

Someone asked Rafael in his Chat the other day and his answer was it's pretty clearly Miguel Cotto.

Cotto can draw on the west coast as his bull**** fight with Mayorga proved.
