I'm OK with Alvarez. If nothing else he'll be a lot bigger than Floyd. Guerrero definitely doesn't deserve this fight yet.

We all know what should be happening on May 5th but it's not happening while Arum's still around.

I don't think anything a done deal yet.

Of course that's just my opinion.
I personally can't think of that many opponents. Martinez is unlikely, if he had a Floyd fight lined up, he wouldn't be so mad over Chavez and he wouldn't drop his diamond belt. If it was Cotto, Arum would already know and he wouldn't make up some bs about Manny not healing by May. Berto and Ortiz are already taken, Peterson nd Bradley are talking about Manny and they're TR fighters. Khan is coming off a loss and trying to rematch Peterson. Who else is at 140-154 that's respectable. Maidana-Devon taken. Morales taken. JMM never again. Mike Jones too young. Kirkland or someone like that? Doubtful. If you got any names you think he might be fighting please throw them out there...I could use any bit of optimism LOL

Seems like it. They're already sending out blasts for the press conference next week Tuesday.

            Very true.

There really is barely any options that are legit.

hate the fact both Pacquaio and Mayweather don't have a fight signed and they can't just ****ing make it happen!

How could Mayweather be at his best against Pac on May 5th when he's looking at jail the next month...that a Mind Phuck...Fight a lesser opponent, go to jail and do your ninety, get your head straight, and fight Manny early 2013. I know that sucks, but I dont' see Money being 100% with time hanging over your head.

most likely i think cotto will get it.

                the opponents are thin.
I agree - and I hate it when writers do that. It implies A LOT.

I think he's better off fighting Manny in May than fighting him after doing jail. Just more time away from boxing and who knows how jail is gonna effect him. He'll be like 35 nd a half by the time he can make that fight too. But who gives a **** its not like they're gonna fight now anyways...if ever

what a bunch of *****... anyone else tired of watching mayweather waste his talent on lesser competition?

                    why not cotto at 154?

at least canelo has some power, although that doesnt matter...

i like the ghost but he is too small and hasnt even fought at ww.

                    what a sham.

im about to start watching soccer, it makes more sense at this point

Of those two, I'd like to see Canelo.
