He's allowed to sign a contract with a clause stating that if his sentence doesn't get pushed back then the contract is no longer valid...so yeah he can make the fight and use that to pressure the court to give him the delayed sentence. If he's announcing the fight next week...it was probably done weeks ago already

I really hate the idea of Floyd-Canelo, I hate the idea of Floyd-Cotto. And, I would rather have Floyd-Cotto than Floyd-Canelo.
