Great move by Miguel. He was very dissapointed due to all the support/aid to Margarito by TR plus how he has been the "2nd" guy for Arum, like on the Pac fight placing Miguel on the weight dissanvantage.
Ill love to see him fight in the following order: Canelo for an unification fight, if victorious, defend against a Top 2 154lbs, and if victorious fight Cornelious Bundrage and come on top with all three belts and not to mention the Ring belt!! He will be back at being a solid top 10 P4P as a by-product!
After that, for his retirement, early 2013 FMJr. and Pac WILL BE CHASING HIM FOR A FIGHT! At that time, Miguel could get a 50M+ payday.
Win or lose he will a sure first ballot selected to the HOF, and All Time Great!
........and let's just think that the won against FMJr. or PAC? Wow!
I can only see a WIN, WIN, WIN for Cotto situation!

Love or hate Arum, Top Rank has brought up great fighters throughout the years. There's no denying that. I'm not sure what more Golden Boy could've done besides a Mayweather fight, which in itself isn't a guarantee either.

Cotto is planning to continue working with Top Rank, likely without a contract, on a fight by fight basis.
