Mayweather would struggle with Ray Leonard at 147. There's no question about that.

Leonard has a combination of size, speed, strength, skills and just sheer ability, more than anyone Mayweather has ever faced. By a huge margin.

Leonard on the other hand, is not fighting something he has never seen before in any dimension when fighting Mayweather.

Leonard would be too much for Mayweather at 147.

Not a small feat considering Ray was a gold medalist and the only person to outbox him had enormous advantages over him and he (Ray) still won...... Ray would also have a tough time out boxing the best fighter of this generation but the x factor for Ray is that he could put Floyd to sleep..... Also keep in mind we have never seen Floyd in a 15 round fight
This dude is an idiot! Ray was out boxed by less skilled fighters that are not even in Mayweather Jrs class. Thats A fact! Mayweather is still undefeated, 6 division world champion. Undefeated in 16 years and going. Always have beaten the real champion at each weight class, no catch weights, and have always been the smaller guy, except for the Marquez fight, where there weight was even on fight night. People like this, that can not give credit to the best fighter our of era is a fool and not a boxing fan. ALSO FLOYD COULD FIGHT 30 ROUNDS! THE GUY IS A BOXING MACHINE NEVER TIRED, Mayweather looks the same in round 12 as he does in round one, fresh and ready to go!

Its a bit absurd when the video shows SRL against the best fighters ever and Floyd fighting guys some of whom couldn't be sparring partners for SRL's opponents.

Just watching the video and comparing Ray's opponents to Floyd's LOL. It's not even funny the difference of level of fighters they both fought. Ortiz, Ndou, Shot Mosley etc. to Hearns, Benitez, Duran.

No way would SRL-Mayweather be a beat down on one fighters part. It would be an awesome fight. Floyd gives SRL a lot of problems and vice versa.

I'm only 23 so that argument is invalid..... But if you cant see the difference between having more licensed fighters in one state (New York) at one point in time then there is the whole sport of boxing today and having less straps to fight for (no interim super diamond) which meant less champs then there are today I'm sorry for you... Even with the extra chances to win a title with so many different organizations and divisions out there there isn't that many fighters of today that can compare with the ones of the past.... Floyd and a few others are the exception.... But ur asking in this case for Floyd to do/face something and over come that same thing that he has never faced before..... You cant honestly say the same vice versa in Rays case....

May has better inside game than leanord? Wtf? If this fight is taking place at 147, Floyd can forget it. Rays bigger, stronger, has faster hands and combination also more skilled offensively, and better foot work. I don't know how you guys would think a guy who went life and death with Castillo could possibly beat leanord, this is madness. But then again floydiots and the mayweathers obsession with leanord almost matches the klitards and vitali. I don't know why *****s feel the need to talk about how may is more skilled than leanord and he would beat him therefore making him the greatest bull****, I swear if leanord is ever short on cash he could just become a gay **** star and make millions from the from his ****sexual following - the mayweathers and *****s.

Bad examples there, so Floyd has a good arsenal of punches, nothing new, but is Leonard expected to stand in front of Floyd without moving his head, similar to Ortiz, Mosley and Oscar? Are you also expecting Leonard to give Mayweather the same respect he gave Hearns or Duran, when those two clearly hit much harder than Floyd. SRL wins this, can't see otherwise.

It's not a knock at Floyd either, it's that Mayweather ain't even at his best at WW. Grab any great fighter from 130-140 against Floyd and we'll most likely get different opinions. At those weights Floyd was alot quicker on his feet and could throw mean combinations.
