when mosley fought pacman he was comin off a TERRIBLE 2 fights (grampa shane is what they called him after the fight)

now which mosley do uu think was shot more?
I hate to break it to you but just BEFORE the fight, Floyd said that his game plan would take into consideration that Mosley is OLD!!!

Also add the fact that this old Mosley was as rusty as nails and he put his body thru 2 consecutive training camps ....

.... Manny fought a Mosley that was a little older (1 year) but Mosley was active.

Taking all that into consideration, they fought a Mosley that was equal.

The mosley that fought floyd was coming off a huge 18 month lay off, while the one that fought pac was active in a fight just a few months before

On top of that, we are taking about a Mosley that was closing in on 39 .... that layoff does not help when you hit that age and need to take on someone like Floyd or Manny.

This could carry on to a point where neither fighter has a single credible win above 140.

Is Mayweather's win over Mosley heralded as some great achievement? I don't see that very often.

Is it better than Pacquiao's win over Mosley? It is moderately better, but certainly neither faced a prime Mosley.

            ^^ I second this.

hindsight is always 20/20. going into the fight, ppl expected floyd to duck mosely, mind u, this is the same mosely that called floyd out in the jmm fight and ppl were saying floyd was ducking him to makre the pac fight (really?!!) and then going into the fight, ppl thought floyd was still gonna duck him and more than a few ppl picked shane to win the fight outright. shane was a top player at www, his lat fight he dominate margs and floyd was fighting "nobodies" (thats right jmm was a bum nobody). floyd fights shane, dominates him, and it was to be expected.

fastforward about a year later, shane got dominated by floyd, had a rough fight with sergio frikkin mora, and pac decides to fight him (even tho shane trying to get a fight with him after the margarito fight was one of the reasons for his long layoff. roach's response to a possible fight at that time "you're too good"). pac looks pretty bad in a fight that was dull and lackluster, and ppl are now trying to claim they are the same level of win?

              hindsight is always 20/20

I was responding to the thread and referencing your post in part , where did I say you said Pac was given credit or more credit ,,,,,,,

You should know by now the way forum chit chat goes , even though a poster may quote another post , many times it is still in relation to the thread , people can be very quick to isolate something like they are the only ones in the conversation , sometimes I think its paranoia like something is directed straight at them personally , I find that happens alot in forums with bad vibes often being misguided .
