But now a rematch with Cotto who has 3 ko's since losing to Pacman is a bad matchup?

Cotto has a new trainer, already get revenge once, if this fight is made above 149, Cotto absolutely deserves a chance to dish out revenge against Pacman who has done nothing but fight losers, weightdrained or get beat up by a lightweight with only one champ at a 145 catchweight.

Boxing scene has Pacman pfp #1 because they said that his body of work was better than Floyd beating Ortiz. How I don't know because Ortiz was a welterweight champ & ranked #2, Mosley was also a champ & lineal when Floyd beat him. It took an aweful lot of free passes for anyone to even fathom not liking Pacman, but now someone has put together a string of impressive wins & this guy doesn't deserve the rematch, **** that.
Oh, I was agreeing with bojangles point about Bradley, he is under-rated.

    I think it's the " feather-fisted " thing that preoccupies a lot of posters.

You underestimate Ortiz like many underestimate Bradley

I am not convinced that Pac could beat Ortiz at 147 bro.

They ducked him for a reason.

He is a handful for anyone at welter, he would give Pac nightmares.

What, a guy who was ranked the third best welter on the planet, a guy who gave Manny "the best sparring ever" (Freddie Roach), a guy who beat someone who had already been named on Pacquiao's short-list..... was "too green"..... and yet a raw 140'lber like Peterson is "ready"?

Lets not compare a guy who had already transitioned successfully to welter and beat a top opponent, with a guy who has not.

It is unbelievable that Peterson could make his way into reckoning for a Pac fight, but the third best welter on the planet was "too green".

Ortiz hasn't done anything other than beat Berto. Peterson drew with him, and pretty much controlled that fight down the stretch. At the very least he is as good as Ortiz is. Not that I want Pac fighting anyone other than Mayweather, but since Arum and Pac are ducking that and Mayweather's in jail I'll take Bradley or Peterson, especially if Pac found the balls to go down to 140 again.

It's time for Pacquiao to fight a young hungry lion. Take your pick, Bradley, Peterson, Rios.Oh my!! hope Bob Arums stops making bull**** matches against old shot boxers.

I am a pacfan.I can't stand watching Pacquiao fight anymore is because he fights old worn out boxers.

My only criticism with Arum and Pacquiao is they constantly fight older past prime boxers. It's time for Pacquiao to fight a young hungry lion, in their prime. Bradley, Berto or Rios. Second choices Peterson, Maidana. These are interesting matches.Because we have always seen Manny as the younger boxer fighting older boxers. Now he is the old dawg and these young pups are out to get him.

            Make it happen BOB.

I dont believe that for a second.

Ortiz won that fight, and would be too much for Peterson at 147.

But regardless..... Ortiz was " too green ", and yet Peterson is not?

And, you cant be serious when you suggested that Pac will drop to 140 ?

Reminder, the catch-weight for Marquez was higher than Manny has ever made himself.

The 140 suggestion was a wish on my part. I really think Pac should drop back down to 140 if he isn't fighting Mayweather. 147 sucks, and he's a better fit a division lower.

Peterson is a damn good fighter, who has acquitted himself better on big stages than Ortiz has. His big fight win over Khan is a better big fight win than Ortiz beating Berto IMO. He's absolutely every bit as good as Ortiz in my mind. I'd give him a better chance of beating Pac than Ortiz too. Ortiz has very little ability to box, very bad defense, and is very ****** in the ring. Peterson is tough, both physically and mentally, he is a very versatile boxer, and he has pretty good timing to counter speed. He's the type of fighter us Pac fans need to see him beat convincingly.

Marquez marks as the last "money fight" that Pac can make at this point of his career (not unless he fights JMM again)... There is no other fight with Top Rank that is more viable than Bradley.. With the exception of Floyd.. He wasnt in the undercard on the Pac-JMM for nothing..
