ridiculous....the shane floyd beat is about even since they oth fought him not too far apart..you could say shane was a champion when floyd fought him but he was coming off a 16 month lay off....the shane that pac fought was only few months later and was not inactive.....now, there is no win on floyd that could equal to the cotto win since cotto has already beaten the way younger shane...we both know who the better fighter is between baldomir and clottey, so again , clottey win is better than the baldo win.....both the jmm wins count for nothing...

Yes Cotto beat the younger Shane. But, that was a pre Margarito Cotto. Cotto have two life and death fights in his last 3 fights going into the Pac fight.

Again more importantly than who is when. You're acting as if Pac fought the Cotto that Mosley fought. Which he didn't.

Mosley was the man, the champ when he fought Floyd. He wasn't when he fought Pac nor was Cotto when he fought Pac.

You say Clottey is better than Baldomir. But, going by your logic and reasoning. Clottey lost to Baldomir. Therefor Baldomir win is better than the Clottey. Regardless I don't think wins over Clottey, Oscar, and Mosley outweigh the wins over Hatton, Oritz, Judah, and Baldomir.

You can't say the JMM counts for nothing when one man obviously dominated him more so -while coming off a 18 month layoff- than the other guy.

I said earlier that beating Pac for me personally wouldn't put Floyd in the top 15 ATG. And, vice versa I wouldn't put Pac in the top 15 ATG if he beats Floyd.

But, what a win would do for either guy is that without a doubt the winner will be considered the greatest fighter of not only this era perhaps the last 15 years.

the post margarito cotto was still way better than than the post mayoga shane..and yet that sahne was younegr than the one floyd fought...clottey lost to baldo via DQ....clottey and baldo both got win over judah , but unlike baldo, clottey arguably was able to beat a guy like cotto, somehting badlo would only dream of experinceing...do you hear anyone labelling clottey a bum beofre he fought pac ...but we all know baldo is a bum from the start.....clootey win was defintely bette than the floyd's hatton ,(140leber) judah (coming off a fair loss not controversial) or baldomr win considering baldo was a bum...
