I would probably give the edge for Floyd over the likes of Hatton, Judah, Baldomir and Ortiz over the Clottey, Mosley and Oscar win. I strongly am for more importantly than who is when.
I think Floyd win over JMM is clearly better than Pac win over JMM
I think it's close. Before Floyd fought Ortiz I probably would have said Pac had the better resume. After that fight I would have said it was even. Because, of where Ortiz was ranked and how he looked prior. Because, again more importantly than who is when.
But, after Pac-JMM III it's Floyd IMO. I still think it's close but clearly Floyd has the better WW resume. If Pac would have dominated JMM then I probably would say Pac. But, the way he struggled against JMM while at the same time Floyd was laughing after coming an 18 month layoff or whatever it was. It's hard not to say Floyd.
I do believe Pac has the overall better resume. I think Pac is higher in the overall P4P ATG's list on mine. But, it's a lot closer for me than it was prior than the JMM fight. After that fight I had to re-evaluate Pac.
So go on....

Made Cotto come in at a catchweight after getting spanked by Margarito and barely beating Clottey, and he STILL needed a catchweight to fight. Pacquiao, what a warrior.
Baldomir beat Clottey, by the way.
Don't bring in Margarito, that wasn't at welterweight.
