Lol people make it seem like Sergio isnt a natural 154 lber, they forget he moved up because he was having trouble getting fights at 154. Has anyone seen the interview here on boxingscene with him? He looks much more slender and its no surprise if he wants to fight at 154 considering he was top dog before moving up. This guy is willing to fight between 154-160 anytime, yet people give him hate and give him **** for wanting to fight the top 2 P4P guys that have both held the same title he did in the same weight division.

*******s also forget that Sergio used to fight at 147 the same weight division Pac is in right now am I wrong? Theres no shame in Pacquiao not wanting to fight him because he knows hed lose. Whats shameful is all of his fans still in denial and discrediting another boxer whos actually trying to make a super-fight instead of settling with mediocre PPVs that burn peoples wallets and end up usually in disappointment

Can't really blame sergio. He's 37 and wants to get paid. the 5-8 mil he gets from floyd or pac is more than anyone else pays him.

He is physically smaller than all of his rivals at MW except for Dizzy, who was also a JMW. Sergio left JMW and went up to MW against larger opponents because that was were the money was.
My point is that there are weight classes for a reason. Sergio is more of a large JMW/small MW than he is a SMW. Floyd and Manny are WWs, and not big ones at that. I think all the weight class hoping is getting out of hand.
I don't think Pacquiao and Mayweather are about the same size altough they are fighting in the same weight class.

Mayweather looked clearly bigger than Marquez in their fight, Pacquiao didn't, Pacquiao is shorter than Marquez.

I think Pacquiao is clearly too small for Martinez, but I'm not sure about Floyd, if Martinez can still make 154,155 it would be a fair fight. I recognize 160 is too much for Floyd.

Pacquiao isn't a welterweight, OR if he's, he was "weight drained"(using his haters logic) making 143 for the Marquez fight.

One day, we hear Manny isn't a small welterweight, then... how can dude make 143 being in "shape".It can't be both.

Not *******ing, just trying to be fair.

So Martinez wont fight one division higher, but he can keep calling out fighters TWO divisions lighter. Even if he can make 154, thats still too big for welterweights.

Some Horse S** this dibella is talking cuz it dont make sense at all..why havent these guys fought pirog yet??!!!! this pirog guy is a solid frikin fighter and idk know why it hasnt happened yet?? I think Pirog is way better fighter than barker?? Pirog is slick hard to hit has pretty damn good hand speed and he can crack as well and he has very good technique and they have denied this fight over and over again saying no one knows who pirog is? well do we know who the last 2 opponents sergio faced either?? NO but we can see the difference in skills in these fighters to pick one from the other. to me Pirog v Martinez would b very interesting cuz the way Pirog fights idk Team Martinez dont want to move up but they say they want to fight Jr and pAC and talking Smack. it only makes Martinez look bad by doing this cuz it makes him look like a Begger and a coward! if he and hes team wants to get paid he knows damn well what he needs to do that is go north of hes division not south and call out fighters. Martinez is the MW champ and a very gifted and talented fighter and a respected one at that so he should ct like one and get hes money the right way not going for bully tactics cuz it only makes him and hes team look like a bunch of P***y's..

don't you remember, in the williams rematch, he weighed 176 pounds AT THE 30 DAY WEIGH-IN!!! That means, after a good 1.5-2 months of training camp HE STILL was 176. . . That means he likely walks around above 180 pounds. . . Manny and Floyd walk around 152, 153 soaking wet. . . Lol, Sergio rehydrates to 170 pounds. . . Manny and Floyd rehydrate to 148-150. . .

Ward is probably rehydrating to around 175-178 on fight night. . . martinez is like two inches shorter, but with a 4 inch reach advantage. . . Martinez is beefier, and wider through the chest and back than ward (which is why he has the reach advantage). . . Can you imagine Sergio next to Manny in the ring? It would be ridiculous looking. . . Whereas you couldn't tell a difference between him and ward.
how do we know if he was clothed or not.

and again, not every fighter jumps up weight classes to collect belts. half of the p4p list on the ring magazine's list are 1 division titleholders (like actual world titles). just because manny was capable of slimming down to different weight classes (if you look at his fight night weight since morales he's been in the 140s on fight night for a while), not every fighter's body can go down or up weight classes.
also, when they compare "martinez vs ward" in order to prove martinez' talents, they're saying that because pacquiao did the same. well, look who pacquiao fought. margarito, an unranked fighter coming off a long time suspension. ward is the best 168 lber in the world right now, that's like asking manny to fight erislandy lara or austin trout.
you really dont understand weight limits do you?....you've been here for a while now since you you said there was a minimum weight limit(lol) and still has not learned a damn thing....

sergio can weigh whatever the **** he wants to but not to exceed the weight limit....so it's just not pac who can weight less the limit , sergio can too if he wants....damn, bunch of f1rst graders here...

It should be no surprise except to those that just don't like him because he weighed in at lie 167 or something on fight night against Barker. Ward probably weighs in at close to 180 on fight night.
