Do you actually follow boxing? Because he has been willing to go down and trying to get those fights. This generation of boxing fans has too much Manny Pacquiao on the mind, a man who can comfortably make 154 has NO business fighting at 168. That's just common sense, guys.

lol. . . no. . martinez is MUCH MORE similar to size of super middlweight fighters, than pac and floyd are to him. . .

don't you remember, in the williams rematch, he weighed 176 pounds AT THE 30 DAY WEIGH-IN!!! That means, after a good 1.5-2 months of training camp HE STILL was 176. . . That means he likely walks around above 180 pounds. . . Manny and Floyd walk around 152, 153 soaking wet. . . Lol, Sergio rehydrates to 170 pounds. . . Manny and Floyd rehydrate to 148-150. . .

Ward is probably rehydrating to around 175-178 on fight night. . . martinez is like two inches shorter, but with a 4 inch reach advantage. . . Martinez is beefier, and wider through the chest and back than ward (which is why he has the reach advantage). . . Can you imagine Sergio next to Manny in the ring? It would be ridiculous looking. . . Whereas you couldn't tell a difference between him and ward.

if sergio could easily make 154, he would have KEPT HIS BELT there. . . remember after he won the belts at 160? WBC said he had to vacate and stay in one weight class. . . He chose 160.. Deduce as necessary. . . you think with how hard he's trying to get fights at lower weights, he wouldn't be fighting as close to that weight as possible in the meantime? LOL. . .

Do you know that for a fact?

And LOL at you emphasizing on the so called generation having too much on Manny Pacquiao. The one point you drive at which is Martinez is having too much of Pacquiao too, you see, that's why he's desperate of all these, willing to come down in weight, all those hypocrisy and **** just making him look bad.

I understand Martinez wants a money fight, but you can't blame fans being disappointed with what Martinez has become.

How ironic you call out people asking them if they follow boxing when your post show's you have a lot lacking as well.

I'm only talking Manny Pac because Serg can't get him out of his mouth. When they talk about weight we all know why they're talking about why he's too small for something or how much he weighs.

Amazing how HBO approves Dzinziruk, Barker, Macklin, but they didn't approve Zbik(probably the best out of the ones I mentioned) which led to Martinez getting his belt stripped. They picked up Chavez Jr.-Zbik though. And Chavez Jr.-Manfredo.

Hopefully shit changes with Hershmann but it's not looking that way.

I'm not disagreeing with anyone about him going after Manny and Floyd. He is too big for those guys, he knows it, they know it, and I never expected those fights to happen. All I'm saying is the guy is too small for SMW and would be out gunned by the majority of opponents in that division. He is physically smaller than all of his rivals at MW except for Dizzy, who was also a JMW. Sergio left JMW and went up to MW against larger opponents because that was were the money was.
My point is that there are weight classes for a reason. Sergio is more of a large JMW/small MW than he is a SMW. Floyd and Manny are WWs, and not big ones at that. I think all the weight class hoping is getting out of hand.

I agree with you regarding Pac. That is a ****** fight and they have no reason to believe it is ever going to happen. I meant actual JMW opponents, Sergio has stated time and time again that he can make that weight for the right fights.

And you accuse me of lacking in boxing knowledge, but don't demonstrate it at all in the above post. Pretty cheap attack, hombre.
The post I responded too was in regard to him getting fights with guys like Canelo and Cotto. He has been more than willing to make fights like that and has been consistently shut down.

                      Sergio is full of it!

I like Sergio, but he will not go up in weight to fight Ward; however he expects to fight much smaller guys, like Cotto, Money May & Pacman to be willing to face him, when they'll be weighting at least 25-30 pounds less then him on fight night! Seems like Sergio is a bully!
