I agree wit you William, I really like Sergio but for him to want to fight smaller fighters and wanting them to come up in weight, to then his camp saying he can't go up in weight to fight better opposition is ridiculous. Why talk about someone else when the same thing that "someone" doesn't want to do YOU dont want to do? It's pure bullcrap

he doesn't want anyone to come up in weight. for manny, the situation will be like margarito: the challenger (martinez) has to step in on the scales at 150 while manny comes in at whatever he pleases. martinez' last fight against darren barker, his fight night weight was 165, just like margarito's weight when he fought pacquiao.
and again, not every fighter jumps up weight classes to collect belts. half of the p4p list on the ring magazine's list are 1 division titleholders (like actual world titles). just because manny was capable of slimming down to different weight classes (if you look at his fight night weight since morales he's been in the 140s on fight night for a while), not every fighter's body can go down or up weight classes.
also, when they compare "martinez vs ward" in order to prove martinez' talents, they're saying that because pacquiao did the same. well, look who pacquiao fought. margarito, an unranked fighter coming off a long time suspension. ward is the best 168 lber in the world right now, that's like asking manny to fight erislandy lara or austin trout.
