Once again, "at the time" those middleweights had more clout then Bute.

It's very easy to wait until the tourny is over and say what should've happened 2 years ago. But the fact is, the original fighters, maybe exept Taylor, had every right to be in the tourny over Bute.

Bute was more accomplished than both Ward and Dirrell at the time, and he was tied with Froch.

I just don't like how Bute stood in the crowd while the race was happening and is now trying to hop out the crowd and trip the winner at the finish line to take his glory. I don't like that. That's just my opinion.

Abraham ducked all the tough fights at 160, did you see the Miranda fight where Miranda was robbed against Abraham? Even so, If that's your opinion then fine, even still, that leaves Dirrell and Taylor, who were less deserving than Bute.

No one is more of a competitor against Ward at the moment than Bute.

But that still doesn't mean that he's earned the right to fight him. This is what you're having a hard time understanding.

No one is questioning Bute as a fighter. But the fact that he hasn't fought the necessary competition to be deserving of a fight with Ward is the problem.

In my opinion, no one should be a mandatory for Ward. Dirrel, Bute, Pavlik and a few others, should fight each other to earn a shot at the title.

thats a bit harsh on Abraham, he was moving up to SMW and was one of the favorites coming in, it didnt work out for him for sure but he deserved his spot there at that time.
