Why would Ward want to fight abroad? There's a reason why European fighters flock to the US.. and no its not sight seeing.

Of course they are. The Klitschkos are clearly better than any American heavyweights. The best cruiserweights including the American Cunningham fight in Germany. Of course, the American boxing media will say those divisions are no good.

Why in the name of God would somebody in Sweden hate European boxers. Are you some silly white Swedish guy who wants to be an African-American?

This is even worse then the BS you normally post.

I don't hate European boxers, but I don't love them by default just because they're from the same continent as I either.

Let's check where the elite fighters actually fight:

          The Ring top 10 P4P-list:

          USA: 7
          Germany: 2
          Japan: 1

Everybody in the top5 in the US.

The Ring Champions or the #1 ranked if there is no Champ:

          USA: 9
          Germany: 2
          Other: 6

Sweden is such a pathetic sissy country that I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to be an african-american.

There isn't much difference in leaving the US and leaving Germany, except in Germany the crowds are bigger and boxing is watched by a higher percentage of the population.

There were about 5000 fans at last nights' fight. In England, they would have had 20,000.
There is a HUGE different in leaving the US than leaving Germany. The fact that the best fighters fight in America is one reason. Also the crowds may be bigger but watched by a higher percentage, who cares. The reason why it's watched by more people is because they don't pay a single cent to watch it. Americans have to pay about 40 dollars a month, just to have HBO and SHO. There's a reason why Boxing is free in Germany and costs a lot in America, demand. There's also a reason why fighters want to fight in America, $$$. Ottke is a bum that never left Germany and never fought anyone. Ward just cleaned out a division. Show some damn respect.

Cunningham fights in Germany because he has no leverage because of no fanbase and an European promoter. If he was a bit bigger and HBO or SHO spent time on him, his fights and European top fights would be coming to the states instead. There's a reason why the very best fighters in the whole WORLD want to make it to America. BTW, anyone that watches boxing knows the Heavies are awful and the talent drop off is pathetic. Klits=good, everyone else=rubbish

The Ring is an American magazine, you naive simpleton!

In 2010 in their annual list, even before his fight with Wlad, The Ring had your beloved David Haye at #54 P4P. Even though I'm a Haye hater, I'll admit that was far too low and terribly biased.

Ward dosen't realy have a fan friendly style and December is the worst time to have a huge boxing match with Christmas just around the corner. GB where selling Khan/peterson tickets for like $20 to help sell the venue out because they recognised this fact.
