if arum and pacquiao avoid mayweather, which seems likely saying they want marquez 4, then i guess this deff would be the next best fight for mayweather. tremendous respect if he does it, but something tells me he'd rather face cotto or alvarez. i doubt peterson or khan would be selected due to the fact that they're rematch would be too close to may for them get another good training camp going. and i can't see bradley happening, and deff not guerrero. so if not pac, it'd be between cotto, alvarez, and martinez? those are some great options tbh.

i don't see a cotto fight when they can't even make a pac fight.

You must be crazy. Sergio is not an easier fight than Manny. Sergio can actually fight going backwards and is bigger and stronger than Manny. Floyd also would not get more recognition for this fight because Sergio is no where near as well known as Manny Pacquiao is.

The only advantage of martinez to manny is size and power even if martinez can fight backward against floyd he will be fighting forward and that's what floyd wants while manny can fight in and out use his handspeed, footspeed, combination and has power too which make it more difficult for floyd.
