Oh, and here's my surprised face upon learning that hours after the court ruling, Floyd already has a GBP Mexican lined up who will be announced next week:

No wait, let me try again...

There we go. Shocking development, really. Came out of left field.
    "Pay attention **** sucker"

    Dec 5th

Arum is flying to Manila with Michael Konz, Pacquiao's adviser, who will also attend the meeting.

"Besides the opponent, the other thing we need to discuss is whether he'll fight in May or June," Arum said.

Mayweather had announced that he planned to fight on May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas -- and that he hoped to fight Pacquiao -- before he was sentenced last month to six months, with three months suspended, in the Clark County Detention Center near Las Vegas.

Mayweather was sentenced after he accepted a plea deal in the domestic violence case stemming from an incident with his with ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, the mother of three of his children.

"I'm not married to May 5, so Manny could fight on another date in May," Arum said. "If Manny's opponent is Marquez, I'd be much more married to the date."

    Dec 6th

Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune.

"We're fighting in June, one of the four guys," Arum told me over the phone.

I asked him, now that Mayweather was available, would he at least be part of the conversation when Arum meets with Pacquiao next week?

A perturbed Arum's response was, "Absolutely not. Nope."

Come again? You won't even talk about it with Pacquiao, I asked very politely.

"Nothing your dumbass wrote is even remotely relevant to what the Overrated hype job's white daddy has stated in the last 48 hours. The mutha****as won't even pick up the phone and has even told the damn mediator via email, that they don't want to even negotiate. Just because the little turd Poochiao is content getting ****ed out his money, doesn't mean he's gonna stop Floyd from getting his.

Bottom line Poochiao is a *****, and disgrace to the Filipino people if he keeps letting that white man pimp his name out for slave wages. He needs to stand the **** up and push the ****in fight through himself."

      The Truck
I'm gonna be honest with ya Truck, there was a lot of angry looking words and characters in there. Lots of bold and orange and CAPS, so I didn't read any of it, not a damn word.

But the important thing to take away from all this is that from the beginning, when Floyd announced he was fighting on Cinco De Mayo 2 weeks BEFORE Pac-JMM III went down, I immediately saw through the bull**** his people were spewing. I said he was planning on taking on a Mexican from Golden Boy's stable and Eric Gomez, GBP's matchmaker said the same thing. But then everyone here did the old song and dance on the puppet strings getting all excited for fantasy fights that will never happen (case in point this thread).

And what did it all amount to? What I said at the beginning- Floyd's people announced IMMEDIATELY after his hearing that he was going to announce his opponent in a few days. The leads being... wait for it, Golden Boy Mexicans.

Now either they just set the world record for fastest fight negotiations ever or, more likely...

1.) your " opinion " on whether the weight affected cotto is irrelevant, because you wouldnt have a clue

2.) it was an obvious attempt to disadvantage cotto, so get real...
pacquiao admits catch-weight is crucial to outcome with cotto
        http://www.thesweetscience.com/news/...ome-with-cotto

3.) why the *** would a supposed p4p fighter attempt to win on the scales ?

It is hilarious that you think manny's catch-weight manipulations are irrelevant, and yet pac views those same manipulations as "crucial".

Again..... For a supposed history buff, you are showing your ignorance.
lmao, bro this is what happens when they argue with their hearts and not with their minds..... You gave him the x2 reasons for a catchweight.....

Pac is a *****.... I say pac is the best p4p, because he makes sure he takes advantage of taking those pounds off before the fight.... He wins on the scales.... Pacs stated this as well as his ****in trainer and for jrosales to come wit dat bull**** is pure nonsense....

Nope because Pacs catchweights were with mofos that were actually in his division which was ri****ulous in itself while, martinez wants floyd, martinez is willing to fight floyd at that weight!!! Dibella is Martinez's promoter, and this is what he his promoter is stating martinez will do, this is not Floyd creating a contract to do this....

Remember FATMAN (I CAN TELL YOU ARE FAT BY YOUR HANDS)
, Martinez is not a welterweight...... All of pacs opponents were welterweights for the most part, COTTO ETC, BUT HE PUT RESTRICTIONS ON THEM ALSO the clown pac is fighting people for their belts at catchweights and he is giving the stipulations along with Freddy Krueger Roach...... Now if you can show me something in that article that stated Floyd came up with that weight (WHICH YOU CANT, BECAUSE THIS IS PUBLICLY KNOWN THAT SERGIO WAS WILLING TO COME DOWN) AGAIN Floyd is looking for pac, and Martinez and his promoter are reaching out saying they will come in at this weight etc.

          I LIVE A BY A GOLDEN RULE....

          "NEVER TRUST FAT PEOPLE"

          AND YOU ARE FAT.....

Are you guys fucking mentally ******ed? Whatever, you know what? You guys are right if the fight was at 147, Cotto -even though he might have weighed at 146 like he usually did- would have whooped Pac ass.

Pac only won cuz' of a catch-weight for 145, lord knows he couldn't beat Cotto at 147.

The point he is trying to make is catchweights are usually done or used when two fighters in different weight classes meet. For example : Mayweather vs. Martinez. Why would Manny need a catchweight against a fighter who is already in the division he is planning to fight in? Yeah the fight would have went the same without the advantage Team Pac had on the scales but that is not the point. The point is they used one for some reason or another. If there was no fear or reason they would have not used a catchweight. It will always be seen or read as Team Pac needed an advantage, whether it was a small or big one is up for debate, but the fact is they had one.

It's as an usual. It had no effect on the fight regardless. Just had fought at JWW weighing 138. Of course they used a catch-weight for a reason. JCC-Whitaker for a catch-weight was for a reason, Hopkins-Oscar catchweight was for a reason. Hopkins-Wright/Pavlik catchweight was for a reason. So I still fail to still point that makes it wrong. But, whatever Pac sucks that's pretty much what people want to hear right now.

What, you work for Floyd or something? Anyways, if dude was getting "slave wages" I don't feel that he would be driving around in 300,000 dollar cars and have mansions in multiple countries around the world. Sure Arum takes a hefty cut but dude is far from broke.
